I have nothing but great things to say about this company. Previous I was working with one of the large banks to refinance my (old) mortgage under the FHA Streamline Refinance that the president created last year. I worked with the old company for several months, getting slow responses, misinformation or partial information. The day before I was set to refinance the bank called me and told me that they could not do it -- 8 months wasted. During this 8 month time I was looking at houses with an agent and told her the story. She highly recommended Movement Mortgage, specifically Lee out of the Virginia Beach office. She said she worked with other lenders but felt that Lee had the most experience and would probably be able to help us. She called him on the spot - a Saturday afternoon - and he picked up. We briefly explained the situation and he said he could help. We set up an office visit for the following week. During our initial office visit he informed me that the typical turn around time for the refinance I was doing was 7-10 days. He continued to get information from me and when we finished it was 4:50 PM. He emailed his underwriters a question regarding the refinance. Before I left at 5PM we had an answer and they confirmed they could refinance. I was in his office for 30 minutes and had more information than what I had gotten from the previous bank in 8 months. Though my refinance did not take 7-10 days (not Lee's fault - there were other factors involved and it was not just a refinance) it was so much faster than I could have imagined. Communication was always great, between Lee and myself and the rest of his staff. In the end he got done what I was told by two different people could not be done, and he did it quickly, efficiently and saved me a ton of money in the process. I am looking at purchasing another home very shortly and am returning to this company without a doubt. I don't think that I will ever look at using a national bank again, nor would I recommend it.
