Kailyn is the absolute best in her field, she treated my back pain and sciatica with exercises on site and sent me home with paperwork for more exercises. She is tiny but strong and makes you feel comfortable while explaining what she is doing. In her free time she volunteers for St. Mary's football team and one of the high school football teams in Lodi as a physical therapist. The rude person I had was absolutely rude af just completely blunt and rude. Didn't care about my pain, kept telling me about previous patients it dealt with. Wasn't trying to help me. Told me I was a walking lawsuit because it asked me to do something I told it I couldn't do at the moment. I have had surgery and been unable to go to Movement for Life! I so miss all the people working there. I can't wait until I can go back! They helped me after I had back surgery. The office people were so helpful and kind. Even when I would have a day when I would call and say I couldn't come. The caregivers were so helpful in getting me to be able sit and get up. I've been going to physical therapy for several weeks now at Central Valley Physical Therapy. I now have a progressive increase in range of motion and the vast reduction in pain at several key areas. The education that I received explained why one area of injury and pain is synergistically related to other injuries on my body. Therefore I need to strengthen more than one area of my body and require therapy on specific muscles on my leg in order to heal my bad knee. The long and short of it is that I've gained strength, reduced pain and learned how to walk correctly. We had to take our 2 year old there for some physically therapy, since she was toe-walking. Brandy Leone is the physical therapist that worked with us, and she is phenomenal. Our daughter is young and also autistic, and not a lot of people know how to respond to that or deal with it, and it never even phased her. She worked our daughter's sessions around her needs, and was always very enthusiastic and excited when she would see results. You can tell she actually loves what she does and cares about her clients. The front desk staff always greeted our daughter by name and were always kind and helpful. The facility is clean and from my observations, the other PTs are supportive and encouraging to their clients as well. We've had to stop going for now due to scheduling but we plan to go back to her as soon as things settle. read more

I must say I've never had a bad day at movement for life starting in the front office, Robin, MariaNella and Laura are all great. I had trouble getting my sessions approved and they tried daily for weeks and I finally was able to start my much needed sessions again. A big shout out and a great big Thank You. I have never seen any of the physical therapists or their assistants in a bad mood ever indicating it's a great place to work in return the patients are greeted by name with kindness, compassion and true caring on how your recovery is coming along. They play fun games throughout the year and hand out raffle tickets and prizes which helps you take your mind of your pain for a moment or two. I have gone here for several injuries from shoulders to broken ankles to arthritis. They have an aide that stays with you & keeps you moving through the exercises. Brian Barrett was one of the last physical therapists I worked with. He was professional & challenged me to strengthen my ankle. Now I can squat or get on my toes without any issues. I like the written & video exercises he provided me so that I could keep working at home between visits. There were new protocols for the pandemic. This is my second experience for PT with this business. I needed PT after knee surgery back in 2016 and was sent here when it was called Central Valley Physical Therapy. The staff was courteous, caring, and thorough. After having total hip replacement surgery, I was again referred to this location and found that there were still familiar faces from my last visits in 2016. The name had changed to Movement for Life Physical Therapy. I was assigned to Brandy Leone who was knowledgeable, courteous, kind, and very helpful. She evaluated me and explained the plan she had for me that would give me the best possible outcome. March, 2019 I ruptured both patellar tendons. After surgery I was referred to Central Valley Physical Therapy due to their proximity to my work and home. From the first visit I knew I was in good hands. Alex, was a true professional in my initial review, helping me understand my current abilities and setting realistic goals. Within about 3 weeks (6 visits) I was making amazing progress. The exercises they recommended for home were convenient and I actually performed them some of the time. As I got to know and work with more of the therapists and assistants I truly felt like part of bigger family. Chip & Brian B were always a pleasure to work with but my biggest Shout Out goes to Brandy. When I was put in her care she upgraded my routine (which I thought was fairly challenging) to what I called "big boy" therapy. I was now really being challenged to the extent my knees felt like they couldn't handle it but in fact it is just what I needed and she helped me achieve a long term strength and level of success I never thought possible. This facility far exceeds the quality of therapy that I've received at other places that I've been to in Stockton. Natalie is my physical therapist, and she is the best!! Maybe this place has some good therapists but not Brandy, the one I got. I was referred by my Dr. I expected to be taught some exercises to do and some to do at home to strengthen my muscles. Well, that did not happen at all, not one single exercise. I paid for an hour. She wanted to pretend she was Dr. Phil and then not listen to my answers and didn't ask questions that made sense. Her questions were not at all related to PT. She asked me what I wanted her to do for me. I asked her what options I had. She said she can't tell me, I have to tell her. So I asked if she was referring to exercises because that is her forte and she should be telling me and have a plan. She said it wasn't exercises, so I asked her to clarify what she is talking about if I am at PT and we aren't discussing exercises. She wouldn't give me an answer, she said I had to tell her. OMG!!! WTF, she made no sense at all. I'd already told her what hurt and what I can't do, plus she had my Dr's referral. She then said if nothing hurt you right now what would you wish you could do. I was fed up with her stupid questions so I answered that I'd like to win the lottery. Then she said she didn't mean to be rude but that I am not ready for PT. WTH, when someone prefaces a sentence by saying they don't mean to be rude, that is exact what they intend on being. She immediately went on to say that she was going to send my Dr. a letter stating that I am not ready for PT. Then she told me I might as well go home early. I paid for an hour and got 35 minutes with NO refund. If I wasn't ready for PT my Dr. wouldn't have sent me and I wouldn't have showed up. Brandy is the one who wasn't ready to do her job as a Physical Therapist. If you go there be sure to ask who your appt. will be with, and make sure it is NOT with Brandy. I called to complain and asked for the manager. A guy, I forget his name, called me the next day and I relayed my complaint. He asked me if I wanted to talk to Brandy again. Really, WTH, it was like talking to someone in another universe the first time, why would I want to deal with her again? One star is too many for Brandy but that's the least I could dole out. read more

They need to learn the meaning of appointment times my sons appointment was at 11:45 we arrived 30 min early to fill out paper work we finished and by noon still waiting. They told me they give you that time to fill out paper work appointment is really at 12 ! Well then don't schedule not for 11:45 and tell me to show up at least 15 min early. I had to say I was going to reschedule to finally get back at 12:10. I told them don't tell someone appointment times if that is not it. If people show up later because of paper work that is on them if they need to reschedule but for people who show up when they are supposed to it is not ok. But the only thing is that the physical therapist was extremely knowledgeable and worked well with my son. If it wasn't for that I would not have given any stars. read more

I've needed PT 3 times in my life knees 2006 and 2012 and now for rotator cuff. The staff has always been welcoming, show concern, and have in this session diagnosed what my Surgeon missed because they spend 2-3 times a week with me they know my body better. Not only the Therapist are kind the aides are terrific. They don't let you get away with anything. Also their monthly thyme and game playing add to the enjoyment of being there. The best part was when I tweaked my shoulder and my mobility was way down, my Doctor said "this is the best your going to get." Ms. Nguyen did an outstanding job. She answered all questions without hesitation and provided tools to use at home. As a matter of fact, all the assistants working at this facility are hard working.
