The scone was perfect, and I enjoyed the croissants. The rice krispie treats left a little to be desired, but that may just be because I make them all the time and I've grown accustomed to doing mine a certain way (browning the butter, etc). All of that was $16. I was shocked at the affordability of this place. While I was there, a guy picked up an insanely beautiful cake for his wife, a chocolate masterpiece with macarons on top. I bought these two on a Friday at their half off sale where they have some of their fresh meals at half off from 2:30 to 4:30. This half off sale is every Friday!! Way cheaper than you can make at home or get in a restaurant. I also bought from their frozen case a small chicken pot pie and a small chicken enchilada. Each small meal looks like two servings to me. The women here are so nice and friendly and very helpful. I plan to eat my way through their meals! From my very first call, Cassie was so helpful and fun to work with. Closer to the event, I had a very helpful sit-down meeting with Ned, even though he was in the middle of several major events surrounding tornado clean-up and fundraising. He still made me feel like my small event was a big deal to them. Their staff onsite was excellent. They provided food, bar staff and general waitstaff for our 200+ person event. Their staff was friendly, helpful and polite, and had a great sense of humor. The food was outstanding and my only regret is that (as the hostess) I only got to try a few bites of the food during the event! I have never reviewed them before, but after attending Cork and Canvas at Cole's Garden a couple of weeks ago, I decided to add my voice to the five star reviews here. Cork and Canvas is the main fundraiser for Positive Tomorrows, the elementary school for homeless children. One of the stations at Chefs' Feast was a taco bar. They had a woman making fresh tortillas for the taco bar - at an event! In a ballroom! I've never seen anything like that before, and it made the tacos so delicious. It was cool to see them pull out all the stops for an important fundraiser. There were many other stations that were all outstanding, but seeing that woman make those tortillas for the taco bar was like nothing I've ever seen before!
