Loved using this venue for our wedding. It is gorgeous! Jordan Rice specifically helped us throughout the entire process and she was great - very helpful, full of suggestions/ideas, easy to contact. I even emailed her late on a Friday night in a panic about needing a last minute rental and she responded right away and made sure everything was taken care of. Great place for wedding with family and friends.. They had the place full of beautiful arrangements. The restroom were easy to find and the space in the place was nice. The Napoleon suite is set up to the 9's!!!! The bar was set up and the bartenders rocked out! The Rumpleminze fountain was sure flowing and we had a great time. Cole's Garden is the perfect fairytale venue! The team (especially Jordan) made our experience so easy and smooth. Jordan was so friendly and made sure the and seating chart was everything we could ever dream of and more. The bridal and groom suites were perfect. It made getting ready so fun and we made so many memories in those rooms. The makeup mirrors were perfect for the bride and bridesmaids. Positive Tomorrows' Cork and Canvas Event. Beautiful ambiance, very organized, with over 700 attendees. As a volunteer teacher at one of the local shelters, it was an added treat to see Shayla's work. The abundance of donated prizes were overwhelming, but, clearly explained in the auction guide. Came here for the cork and canvas event, what a beautiful venue! So spacious and the outdoor area is nice with walkways, benches, trees for shade, and a pond. The main area is lit up farm house style and I can see the interior areas being very good for weddings and similar events. read more

This venue is beautiful! We came for the Corks and Canvas fundraiser for Positive Tomorrows and the setup was amazing. The stations of food and desserts were setup throughout and kept us busy. For an event center in the heart of OKC, you can't get any better than this place! I have been to both weddings and corporate events here and it's always a pleasure. The grounds are very well kept along with a beautiful waterfall in the back. They have two reception areas and a really nice covered patio. Well, this place is all sorts of magical Alice In Wonderland meets The Chronicles of Narnia awesome. I've been to two wonderful weddings here and hope to go to many more at this venue! Lovely & well-kept lawns and gardens, romantic lighting, indoor/outdoor options, a gazebo and great seating arrangement options! There are 2 quirks that I would advise all peoples hosting an event here to ask about handling before: 1) The sound system outside in the space used for ceremonies has been spotty going in and out. 2) People working and hanging out around the gardens - make sure someone is there to remind them to be quiet! I've attended many events at this wonderful venue over the years, but during Cork and Canvas last week, I realized what an amazing venue it really is, deserving of five stars. As the name suggests, it's a really beautiful venue, with lovely gardens surrounding a very upscale indoor area. It's built to work no matter what's happening with the weather. Even if you're planning to be outdoors, your event can easily be moved indoors, especially when you factor in the large covered patio that you can use even if it's raining too hard to be in the gardens. I've been to weddings, receptions and more fundraisers than you can shake a stick at here and I've always had such a nice time here. I'd love to host a big event here sometime, but in the meantime, I'm loving going to events here. read more

The only venue we toured for our wedding - everything was PERFECT! 3 outdoor ceremony options and one indoor ceremony option. The bridal suite is GORGEOUS and the grooms suite is absolutely amazing. You will want to spend the whole day there! We were supposed to be married here on May 15th and had to postpone to September 11th due to coronavirus. Laurel, Madi and the rest of the team were super helpful every step of the way. Couldn't recommend this venue enough! read more

I visited this place for a wedding and the grounds are beautiful. There is a large koi pond with a waterfall. The grounds are well kept and great for pictures. The patio was great too with all the lights and outside bar to sit and relax. The staff was friendly I just didn't like that I saw staff make themselves plates of food and eat it out in front of everyone. I found that to be very tacky as you are not a guest you are working and why do it in front of everyone? Something else that I found to be tacky was that the bartenders didn't want to have someone wash glassware and decided to use small plastic cups to make drinks because as it was stated, "I do not want to wash glasses, lets just use plastic so we don't have to stay late and go home". I cannot recommend Coles Garden enough! The venue is breathtaking, and I loved being able to have the entire space for my wedding. I wanted to get married outside at the waterfall in April, so it was very relieving to know that I had multiple back up plans within the same venue just in case it rained. Luckily, there was no rain on my wedding day and clear, blue skies. Christin was my assigned event specialist, and she made the whole experience an absolute pleasure. She knew when to crack a joke when I was getting extra stressed and when to get to business when I needed to get on the ball with scheduling vendors. She was the best resource for someone that didn't even know where to start with this intricate process. Coles Garden is worth every penny! read more

My daughter was married here September 2015. The venue is beautiful and having the option of an inside or outside ceremony is priceless. The planning meetings with Christin went well and she was very thorough during the planning process. We did have trouble setting up meetings and communicating with Dustin the catering manager, we found him to be rude and dismissive and not at all detail oriented, the notes he took during our meeting were never correct and we ended up with food we specifically said we did not want. Overall, the catering and food was sub par, Dustin is not experienced with handling a sit down meal, or having the proper amount of servers,I had finished eating by the time the last table received their food which is unacceptable! If you are having a buffet the service will probably be adequate. I will add that the bartender we had was exceptional and attentive, we had requested and paid for 2 bartenders but only had one on the wedding day, he worked very hard to take care of our guests. The DJ was really a disappointment!. The sound quality at the service in the rose garden was terrible. There was NOT a mic provided for the minister as we had requested and the music for the singer was barely audible, the vocalist had a hard time signing as he could not hear the music. During the reception he did not play songs specifically requested in the planning meeting and made poor choices in his selection. At several points we had to ask him to stop playing songs because they were on the do not play list! He had no personality and had to be told how to adjust the volume when the speeches were given, he seemed VERY inexperienced but in this respect, you get what you pay for, as he was inexpensive. I would definitely not use the Coles Garden DJ again if I had to do over! Pay the extra money for a real DJ it will be worth it! Over all, on the wedding day, several balls were dropped by the entire staff at Coles and we did not feel like a priority. The wedding coordinator actually left for a couple hours during the day and seemed "put out" when asked to help with any set up. Her attitude and demeanor were not professional and she seemed to want to do only the minimum to help with anything "day of". There is not ANY excuse for that kind of unprofessional behavior. I would say that Stephen the day of catering supervisor, the wait staff, and the bartender were all very kind and attentive to the guest and we did appreciate all of their hard work and tipped them well. We had a beautiful wedding day despite the problem with Coles Garden staff and a fun time was had by all. I hope this review will help others not have similar problems with the venue. read more

Coles Garden is such a beautiful venue. It's bright, simple, and honestly doesn't need much decor on wedding day. I picked Coles Garden for sooo many reasons. There are several different locations to have your ceremony and you don't have to settle on which location until right before the event. I wanted a venue that had a beautiful outside location and inside location. The outside is beautiful with sooo many places to take pictures. The garden, the pond, the quaint gazebo etc. Another reason I chose Coles Garden was since I had an inside ceremony I wanted the reception to be in a separate room so we weren't having to move things around. The reception room + outside patio that can enclose was perfect. Plenty of room in the reception room but the fireplace outside made it that much more cozy. The bridal and groom's suite are the best I have ever seen. We loved utilizing it all day. On top of the venue being incredible the staff are outstanding!! We worked mostly with Mattie and she was so kind and so helpful for us when we had no idea what we were doing. I could go on and on about how great this place is! I 10/10 recommend Coles Garden! PS - we visited Coles Garden multiple times without an appointment to get ideas and get our vision which was so nice as well! read more

Coles Garden was an absolute DREAM! Every inch of the grounds is breathtakingly beautiful! From the romantic outdoor patio to the gorgeous garden and waterfall to the stunning chateau, it is the perfect venue. To top it off, the Coles Garden team of coordinators are wonderful. You have several meetings with them leading up to your event to go over any details and help you with any questions that you might have. It truly is such a special place to spend your wedding day. We enjoyed getting ready in their spacious suite and had a blast listening to the wedding day playlists they had set up for us. Also, their classy suites photograph getting ready really well. The outdoor garden is such a unique space compared to other venues in Oklahoma and really is a magical area. It was a hard decision, but we choose to have our ceremony in front of their beautiful waterfall which turned out perfectly. They supply table and chairs that look great in the indoor reception area. You don't have to work hard at making the chateau look regal for your wedding, but it is not too overdone and you can personalize it just how you like. My husband and I left the reception for a brief time to take sunset pictures and loved getting to enjoy the scenery there and taking a minute to enjoy and embrace the moment. The Royal Gardens are absolutely gorgeous and the Veranda and patio have gotten great renovations and make the reception space so easy to float in-between. We had such a wonderful experience having our wedding at Coles Garden!! First of all, the venue is beautiful and has the perfect layout. My husband loved the groom's suite with the pool tables and bar area, and the bridal suite was so cozy and perfect to get ready. We were able to have all our guests there comfortably - we had our dance floor & live band outside on the covered patio with the fireplace going and it was so dreamy!! We worked with Christin, and she was SO amazing to work with. She got a lot fabulously with my wedding planner, and together they made the day perfect. We were scheduled for one day and had to reschedule when COVID hit, and Christin communicated with my wedding planner and I so well about rescheduling and making sure that we had the day we wanted (even though we had to change original plans). The best wedding venue, ever! Everything was just gorgeous. The outdoor covered patio is huge and has a working fireplace, bistro lights and opens up to their beautifully manicured gardens. The inside is just as awesome - huge room with chandeliers and built in bar. They have a massive bridal suite and Napoleon suite which was perfect for getting ready in. Their wedding package also includes chairs and table linens. What really sets this place apart is their venue coordinator. I recently attended a family wedding here. The grounds were lovely and the staff was friendly. HOWEVER, having been in the catering business myself, I was shocked at the dress of the wait staff and bartenders. There was NO consistency--some were casually dressed in black slacks and tops, others were in tights and hoodies. I couldn't believe it. I have never been to an event where the wait staff was not dressed in either a tux or other coordinated outfit that made them easy to identify. It looked extremely unprofessional. If I had been paying the bill, I would have been very angered by the sloppiness of the staff at a what was otherwise an elegant event. If you plan an event here, it would be a good idea to spell out how you want the staff to present themselves. read more
