Terrible communication. They said they didn't have time for me today after I clearly stated what I…read moreneeded and had an appointment. They wasted my time, PTO, and money (paid for 4hrs of parking) just to turn around and leave. This issue falls on the booking coordinator to properly understand and clarify a customer's needs before scheduling an appointment. During the booking process, I clearly stated that I wanted color services to help blend and conceal my gray hair, along with highlights and lowlights. I also explained that I had reference photos because I wasn't certain of the correct terminology. Having grown up around the salon industry, I understand that it is the booking coordinator's responsibility to ask clarifying questions rather than make assumptions about the services being requested. Instead of taking accountability for the miscommunication, the response I received was dismissive and unprofessional. The lack of customer service, accountability, and willingness to acknowledge the mistake has left me with little confidence in this business. As a result, I will not be returning or recommending this salon.

She said it'll get lighter with wash. I thought at least the hair is not ugly, but when I got home I started seeing the imperfection especially after washing my hair. Cut is uneven and one side of my head is orange. She said she will highlight my roots too and do a shadow root, instead it didn't seem like she did anything for my grown out toes. Would only give one star if it's not for the owner who offered to get my hair redone and recommended me to get it done with Victoria. I really appreciate that but Victoria is only available during a work day and I have a wedding to attend soon. When I scheduled my appointment, i explained to the person on the phone what I wanted and asked to be paired up with a stylist that could do my hair how I wanted.

The prices are very reasonable, too. Hospitality is not a foreign concept here - beverages are a nice touch. I did something most stylists inwardly cringe from - I sat down and said "I just need something different. Do whatever you want to!" Tracie was a pro and we chatted and then she got started. I loved my cut and really enjoyed chatting with her. It's nice to find a great salon so quickly!

I started by showing her a picture of what I was wanting to achieve. It was a prior haircut I'd had, and I noted to her I realize it won't be exact because each hair designer does things a little differently. Well, Maria cut my hair EXACTLY as the picture looked! This is the mark of a very skilled hair designer. The shampoo part was heavenly. The owner is currently in the throes of remodeling, but if she keeps anything, she definitely should keep those shampoo bowls! You feel the comfort as soon as you sit down I believe from their bowls being the perfect height. Many other salons have low-positioned bowls, which are uncomfortable for the patron as well as the hair designer because the designer ends up having to bend down and hurt her back. The comforting shampoo bowls allow you to enjoy the fantastic complimentary head and neck massage. I thoroughly enjoyed LaBella Salon and my experience there today. Maria and I had a nice discussion on hair trends for 2023 as well as color trends. It looks like I will be back sometime soon for a balayage. I just can't decide now how much I want to lift my hair. Looks like the blonde is calling me, but also would like to try a deep chestnut. Hmmm...I guess we'll see.
