I called Herring-Groseclose and the person I spoke with was very nice and gave me a price lower than the others, so I decided I'd use them. When my sister finally died just two months after my initial call I called them again to arrange the creamation. This time they quoted a price much higher than what was initially quoted. When I mentioned this they said the person who quoted that was wrong. I asked to talk to that person and they said he was not available. I asked if they could ask him to call me back and they said yes, but no one ever called me back. After I complained, they took a couple hundred off the new price, but it was still 100's of dollars more than what I was initially quoted. As I was in a hurry I went with them anyway, and now 3.5 months later I still have not recieved the death certificates and today was my third call to ask for them and I was told someone will call me back-we'll see.

When my sister passed away quite suddenly, Ife and the funeral home took care of our immediate needs. Thankfully, we never had to deal with all the responsibilities that come with a death. In addition, my sister had pre-planned her cremation, and it was such a gift to us. Ife and the Neptune Society did all the necessary paperwork, sent us our copies, including the death certificate, and handled the cremation, so we were relieved of these duties at a time when we were just having enough difficulty dealing with the death. I have absolutely no complaints, and highly recommend the Neptune Society, Ife Capone, the Brookside Funeral Home and Crematory in Moxee Washington.
