The staff were very welcoming, greeting us as we came in. When deciding on a sandwich, you get to pick the bread, the meat, the veggies and the condiments so literally no two sandwiches could be alike. The sandwich also came with a side (we opted for the coleslaw and the fruit) and by far, it was a good little bite that held us over as we continued to explore the area. They have seating inside as well as outside and it's worth the stop and taking a peek inside.

A local couple stood in the order line behind us and reassured us that everything is good. Turns out the woman was my hometown mail carrier and remembered my address!!!! My hometown is more than 600 miles away! Amazing. Delicious food and a lovely experience. We will be back next time we are in town.

I would give the overall service of the place a 1-star. I ordered the combination burrito. It had basically everything on it. It filled me up and why not exactly tasty, it was as standard a fare as I could hope for in this remote spot. Standard Tex-Mex and warm. Rates right in the middle if all you aspire to is "sustenance." There's not a lot of options in Ft. Davis but I think I'll explore a lot of others around before I reattempt this. It's worth spinning the wheel of chance rather than return to a very sub-par service experience.

We went in for Mother's Day this year, and I am so happy we did. The view and drive are always phenomenal. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious.
