Can I give 0 stars?…read more Let me start by saying it's $350/6 lessons. Seems a little high but went with them because it would ensure my child would be a safe swimmer with taking lessons. DO NOT buy a package and have anything in life come up on the day/time you have a lesson. Even if you know a week in advance. We had two Monday lessons at 11 which I expressed something came up and they needed to be changed to later in the day. This was on the Sunday before one lesson. I was told that per their policies (which literally are no where) they will only change one. I wrote back about life circumstances happening and they said "Thanks for the information." The lack of understanding from a company that likely deals with a lot of kids is mind blowing. There are plenty of better options out there and I wish I would have gone with another. DO NOT RECOMMEND

He started with very little swim skills and had always been a bit fearful of the water. Taydem made him feel super comfortable and he looked forward to lessons with her each day. I am very pleased to say his safety and comfortability in the water improved greatly over the course of his lessons! We will be doing another semester this summer just to allow him more time to build upon the skills he has learned. Overall, our experience with Kidtastics has been great and we would highly recommend them and Taydem!

We had an incredible experience with Kidtastics, specifically our instructor Tori Fraga. We decided…read moreto commit to two weeks of 1:1 swim lessons at our home for 2 weeks, (8 lessons, 30 mins each), because despite almost 2 years of weekly group swim lessons at local swim schools, I wasn't confident my 5-year old was truly water safe. I worried about her overconfidence in the pool (thinking she could swim because of the lessons), yet not knowing how to get herself to the side of the pool and out, or swimming without assistance safely. The local swim schools seemed to focus on specific skills like floating on her back and wouldn't target other skills without her doing this, despite her having ear issues that made this very uncomfortable. At the end of the day, that wasn't going to keep her from drowning and I wanted her to be water safe, then start learning strokes. Tori listened to our experience and goals for Michaela and exceeded our expectations. By the end of two weeks, Michaela was not only completely water safe (able to swim to the side of the pool and get out without assistance), but also learned freestyle, backstroke and butterfly, two types of dives and able to dive for items at the bottom of the pool without issue. After the lessons concluded, Michaela swam in our pool for 45 mins with zero support and even practiced strokes and dives. This level of skill would have taken years of weekly lessons and much more money spent in a swim school. This was absolutely worth the investment and daily time commitment for two weeks. Michaela and our whole family adores Tori; her enthusiasm for swimming and teaching was palpable. She built a lasting relationship, connection and impact on Michaela, beyond just advancing her swimming skills. Thank you, Kidtastics and Tori!! We would recommend Kidtastics to any family with a child that has any level of swim goals.

We also had lifeguard Laura, and she was AMAZING! I also used to be a lifeguard (now a mom that wanted to enjoy interacting with other parents and not have to watch the pool like a hawk). It was clear that safety was a priority, and she kept a watchful eye on the swimmers, enforced rules when appropriate to keep everyone safe, but also made sure everyone was having a great time! I'd have her back in a heartbeat. Many parents were super appreciative (and impressed) that we had a lifeguard for the party. Honestly everyone should do it!

I initially had a good experience with Goldfish Swim School, but unfortunately, I left feeling…read morefrustrated by a lack of clear communication about their lesson package and makeup policies. I purchased a 5-month (20-lesson) package and specifically asked whether I could use missed lessons after the 20-week period, since I knew we would be traveling several times. I was told that I could, but I was not informed that I would need to maintain an active membership or that makeup lessons would need to be scheduled separately from our regular class. By the end of the 20 weeks, we had only completed 11 of the 20 lessons, yet I was automatically charged for another month. I contacted the school immediately to ask about the charge and explain the situation but did not receive a response. When I spoke with the front desk, I was told the charge could not be removed and that I would need an active membership to use my remaining nine makeup lessons. Unfortunately, I cannot afford to maintain an active membership just to use lessons I had already paid for. As a result, I lost a significant amount of money and ultimately paid more per lesson than their standard rate, despite purchasing a package that was advertised as including four free lessons. I understand that businesses have policies and rules, but my main concern is that I specifically asked about this before purchasing the package and was not given accurate information. Had the policies been clearly explained upfront, I would not have purchased the package. I hope the school considers improving communication around its package and makeup policies so customers fully understand the terms and costs before committing.
