I've found the ministry to be encouraging, uplifting, joyous, and at the same time motivational with intention to move people closer to Who God Is and guide you into how biblical principles can transform an individual's life. I've noticed that harsh reviews of churches often come from moments when someone felt convicted or disagreed with a message. That discomfort can turn into criticism, even when the pastor was simply teaching what they believe is biblical truth. For me, Cedar Park has been a place where the messages are honest, compassionate, and meant to strengthen people, not tear them down. This church is a place where the meaning of Jesus' love and grace reigns.

He rarely adds meaningful historical/archaeological references, analysis or current cultural comments of any depth. His emphasis is mostly about individuals' emotions. - A lot of focus is made on eating and playing more than doing individual and group evangelism, neighborhood prayer walks and door knocks, and labor to serve the poor, elderly, and sick, whether saved or unsaved. (Unless it's asking to give your financial earnings.) - NOTE: Elders/deacons are not on their site? Who are they? I asked some members and they had no idea.

The food bank is open on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month from 4:30pm - 6:30pm. The Father's House offers a full kitchen to use for private events. Sadly, the day of my visit was to celebrate the life of an amazing woman. The pastor and the volunteer staff all showed compassion and kindness during this difficult time. I am grateful knowing that my bestie and her family find comfort, solace and peace at The Father's House.

I've since been to both the 10:30 a few times and their 9:00 AM a few times. Both a little different, but also the same. Good praise and worship time, great lessons, and most importantly, lots and lots of people being real. I don't do the brain-wash or the "leave your house in your will to us" stuff; I just like to go and give Him praise and glory. What a phenomenal place to do just that.

Ryan, Aaron, Heather and so many others are also amazing teachers. Eli, young man who has an infectious energy. You'll see him everywhere. Worship service singing is top shelf that will draw you in to communion with the Lord. Messages are always poignant and something to meditate upon after you leave the force into the field of the world. Something for everyone. My kids were born, raised, and baptized at the Image Church. The feeling of community that the senior pastors managed to foster among the "members" is second to none. They lead by example, with grace, and an open home. They invest into people generously without expecting anything in return. Although every ministry is operating with excellence, my favorite ministry is the Image KidZ ministry. My kids have never once asked to skip any event. From weekly Sunday services, to occasional movie nights, community events, camps, bake sales and holiday parties, my kids have cleared their schedules and mine to attend. And you know how you know if it's good? When your kids are too old to participate and still sign up to volunteer. You will find your community. You will find a family, even if you've never had one. You will find shoulders to cry on and stand on. You will find people to celebrate you, challenge you, and walk alongside your deepest valleys and highest mountains. No one claims to be perfect, far from it...the authenticity and vulnerability is yours to see and share, as you feel comfortable. But most importantly, Holy Spirit is here in the most real, precious, and powerful way. It is impossible not to see him in the genuine smiles and feel him in the warm embraces.
