The views omg the views are amazing here!!!! We had a rental car so personally the drive up was rough BUT SO WORTH IT. The gift shop is huge so we took advantage and got some souvenirs here. Huge verity as well & good service. Quite the adventure but we had a great time.

Beautiful view of Magens Bay! The Banana Daiquiri was delicious after a stop on a local tour. Busy location with a lot of tour buses. There are a lot of souvenirs to choose from as well. Overall I recommend as a tour stop.

Mountain top is a great place for souvenirs and a picturesque view. As well as the famous banana daiquiri with or without alcohol it's still great. Nice clothes, and nice souvenirs that aren't that expensive compared to other places. The workers will help you with anything you need and are great as well. Good photo ops and great views. You can't go wrong with mountain top.!

We stopped here as part of an Island tour. Souvenir shop had a plethora of options and was definitely on the pricier side . The Banana Daiquiri (7 million sold-supposedly) looked good although the lines were too long to get one-best option is to get in line first if there isn't a queue as tour groups are continuously arriving. The star of the show is the view of Magens Bay. Plenty of photo opps from the lookout point. A must stop when visiting St. Thomas.

The view from this point is amazing. Beware that it's definitely a tourist trap because you have to walk through a gift shop and bar to get to see the view. Items are overpriced but if you want convenience, this may be your place to shop. The staff are not the friendliest but they also have tons of tourist pouring in and them just want to keep the lines moving.

GRAB YOUR DAIQUIRI AND RUN. They are the only reason I'm giving 2 stars. Service is HORRIBLE. I didn't even want to spend money here after my first interaction. And oldest looking lady was extremely rude telling me "are you going move out of my way??" While I was with my baby looking at clothing. She didn't bother to ask nicely before that. Horrible attitudes and not worth the trip. There are nicer vendors who actually deserve tourist money all around the island.

This place is a tourist trap. It has nice views and the banana daiquiris are good. Decent prices for souvenirs. Other than views, drinks and shopping, there's nothing else to do.

Sea look up, Banana Daiquiri, shop, bay view. This is the location serve the world famous banana daiquiri. The alcohol is there if you don't need to drive. The souvenir shop has many souvenirs. From short to decorative cup. But if you are here Banana daiquiri is the way to go. Don't miss out. The overlooked has a good view to Magen Bay. It is a beautiful beach from the mountain top. It take your breath away. The parking is limited. They do have Outlet parking. Public restrooms are available.

Prices aren't bad. Typical souvenir shop. $6 magnets. $30 T-shirt. $40 hoodies. No one is bothering you. The bathrooms are very clean. There's food and drinks available too. World Famous Banana Daiquiri. Ice Cream with Rum Cake

This place is amazing! The view is unlike any other on the island. They have great souvenir options here too. You can choose more high end items like real silver jewelry or your more standard less expensive items like magnets, t-shirts, and hats. But let's be honest the real draw is the amazing banana daiquiris! And you can get a cute plastic cup you can keep and get a refill because one usually is not enough.

While on our tour of Saint Thomas, VI, my family's first stop was on the "World Famous" Mountain Top. Mountain Top is a mix of a tourist attraction, duty free souvenir shop, and bar. It allegedly has the best banana daquiris in the world and also it is allegedly where it was first invented. I cannot attest as to the quality of the banana daquiri, as I am not much of a fan of the drink, so I did not order while here. I did take time to peruse the store for souvenirs, it has everything from clothing to gift items, home decor, etc. I will also say the outside of the store is weird decorated with pirates... tons of pirates. It's odd but it works. My favorite part is of course the views of the island that the Mountain Top affords. Mountain Top sits atop St. Peters Mountain, which is 1500 feet above sea level. It thus allows you an amazing view of Magens Bay, St. John and the British Virgin Islands. I really cannot emphasize enough how beautiful St. Thomas looks from the observation area of Mountain Top. If you come to Saint Thomas, I highly recommend coming here. Its a long car ride up here, but it is worth it!

First stop during our excursion u come into the shopping area, big area plenty of souvenirs to shop & look around. Another treat here is the great tasting Banana daiquiri they are very good, a bit on the sweet side but otherwise pretty good. After grabbing drinks we went outside to check out the amazing views & wowww! Beautiful, beautiful views so nice so peaceful it was lovely to see, definitely a must see view.

Go where the Banana Daquri invented quite a view. Maybe you can see Kenny Chesneys Blue Chair there. Great Bahamas stuff at the shops.

For you whiskey drinkers out there, Johnny Walker Gold is cheap, $45 for a large bottle when Kmart sells it at $55. Johnny walker black is also on sale 2 for $68. They also have the coveted White Hennessy for $50, which is dirt cheap, this pure white cognac isn't sold in the US and my friends back stateside have told me they have paid close to $100 per bottle to get it. It is veeerrrryyy smooth. This store is one of the best ways to transport alcohol stateside without it breaking all over your stuff in your luggage and weighing it down. I wish they had a wine section. If you're not into the alcohol the other 50% of this store is perfume, which is all reasonably priced. I always stock up on my Marc Jacobs Daisy here. 4.25fl oz for $70 is about $25 cheaper than at retail stores. The employees here aren't pushy on sales either. I think they are bored and just looking for someone to talk to about anything. If you've got time to kill in this tiny airport check this store out. #byebye #St.Thomas #USVI

The airport is fairly small, so there's only one souvenir shop on the departure side, but there were still several food options available for a quick meal or snack. I'd definitely fly through here again.

Too many different airlines fly into STT and this just make it more congested and chaotic. The airport is too small to accommodate any airline or third party travel clubs, so everyone get the same crappy service! Very limited food choices and the Hibiscus Cafe stinks up the entire waiting area. During peek season it could take you two or three hours to get through security. Again very antiquated and triple redundancy. IF you have Global Entry you can jump the Customs line but that is it. They have TSA precheck but No Clear and now that more and more people are e getting TSA Precheck it not much faster "at this airport ". I've been flying for over 30years and TSA and Global Entry for 10 and this is the worst experience I've had so far. I get that the agents have a job to do and I very much appreciate them keeping American Safe, but being rude and disrespectful is completely unacceptable! To be honest this airport will keep me from returning to this island, was just not totally amazed with a lot of things. Is it a beautiful place, in spots yes, but to deal with this airport for me it is not worth returning and I myself don't recommend, we only came here because it have the cheapest airfare, so shame on me for not doing more research. If you do get a rental, get a Jeep! You will need it!!! Get all the insurance you can, you will need it!!!! Driving on the island is different then anything I've ever experienced and not just because the drive on the Left side, it's just a free for all nobody cares and our New Jeep looked like it was 5 years old and had damage on all four corners. Take Pictures and Videos of EVERYTHING before you start it up!!! I love Hilton and the Hampton Inn, but the only one on the island is at the harbor where all the Huge cruise ships dock, Daily! Most of the time they are gone by 6pm, but the next 3 will be dock by 7am, so if you want to a view you need to get up early.
