I waited at the front counter while the sale woman was having a casual conversation with a customer. When she finally became free she asked if I was waiting for her. There was a very rude sign on the door about you can't look around or ask any questions. I took my chances and walked in. I asked the woman if it was ok if I looked around. She said that they were plagued by shoplifters and couldn't wait to get of this town. Worst vibe I have ever had while shopping in a local store. I bought a few things, (they do have some great stuff). Charged me extra for using a debit card. I won't be back, but I would have spent much more if it were a more welcoming environment.

The knowledgable and professional staff at Samuels Jewelers in Grand Junction made purchasing my…read morewedding ring one of the best shopping experiences of my life. I worked closely with Keli, who went above and beyond every time I had a question, concern or idea about the design of my ring. I had a very specific look and design in mind when we were shopping for my wedding ring. We had looked at some of the other big name jewelers and were less than impressed with what they had to offer. We had also looked at some of the high end jewelers and were concerned about the cost. Samuels had the best of both worlds, high end quality with reasonable prices. Keli worked with me every step of the way to ensure than my custom designed ring would be exactly to my specifications. She found me the perfect diamond and then communicated endlessly with the jeweler to make sure that the final result was flawless! I felt totally comfortable that my ring would turn out just as I had wanted-down to the last detail...and it did! And to make things a bit more challenging, we were working on a tight deadline. Somehow, Keli managed to have my ring ready just in time for our big day. I am so thrilled with how everything turned out! A million thank yous to Keli and her team! On a side note, I am a working mother of an infant and I have almost zero extra time in my day to do anything. However, I was so impressed with the customer service given by Keli and the absolute impeccable quality of my ring I had to take a moment to write this review :)

Zales had ordered low quality, yellow diamonds in for me to look at... And they were $200 more expensive. Samuels explained the clarity scale and what looks best as a solitaire setting. My ring is exactly what I wanted and it is all thanks to Samuels and their incredible staff. We recently went back and bought our wedding bands from them as well. They are now "our jeweler". We will be going back for ANY fine jewelry needs we may have!

Packed to the gills with nostalgia, Robin's Nest has really upped their game!…read more Claustrophobic and inaccessible in some areas of the store, collectibles fill every nook and cranny. Pricing vacillates wildly. Some things are very reasonably priced, like vintage display cases, dressers, Hoosiers and book shelves, while other items haven't moved in almost a decade because they are overpriced. I recognize a lot of static inventory from the old Haggle of Vendors antique store. There is still a good selection of collectible knives and razors in the cases near the front. Ball jars here and there, and if you have broken a piece of Fiesta Ware or need something to round out your set, this is definitely the place to check. This is still a destination antique store, and if you are looking for home decor or are a collector, I can't recommend this place highly enough. From the moment we walked in, we felt genuinely welcomed and taken care of. When they examined the ring, they didn't just do a quick assessment, they took the time to show us exactly how worn the band had become and explained our options in a way that was clear and honest. Their suggestion to place the diamond onto a new band was spot on, and we're so grateful we trusted their expertise. The craftsmanship is absolutely outstanding. They polished the diamond to a brilliant sparkle and the new band is flawless, it honestly looks better than we ever imagined. It feels like we have a brand new, high end piece of jewelry with so much sentimental value preserved. On top of that, they finished the work faster than promised, which was such a pleasant surprise. And the price? More than fair, actually less than we expected for this level of quality and care. It's easy to see why Mesa Jewelers has such a strong reputation in the community. The owners are incredibly kind, honest, and truly passionate about what they do. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and take pride in every piece they work on. We are beyond thrilled with the entire experience and will absolutely be coming back for any future jewelry needs.
