Dr Liu took all my pain away and gave me back my lifting abilities all while treating me like an actual person, not like a dollar sign as i had been in Erie. he explained the surgery completely, and the team set up everything from my hotel as well as travel to and from the hotel to surgery center. i have often spoke with folks debating on getting surgery done and hands down the most amazing place i've had work done. and because of that, i went to them again last year for detrimental cervical spine issues. In early 2025 was told my spinal column c5-c3 was unstable and in x-rays you could see it tipping off to the left. the pain i endured was so bad, i often thought about just ending existence. my pain was as if someone put red hot coals under my skin and into my muscles from my skull down to my lower lt region and across my entire back and into my shoulder and down both arms...and the pain was 24/7 with zero relief for months. Dr. Bitan preformed a double discectomy with the insertion of 2 cadaver bones and a mesh around c3-5. I INSTANTLY had relief of all that pain. recovery went well as i was back to doing the bulk of my normal life within a couple days and as the pain subsided from the surgery (he really had to move things around as i have a large, muscular neck) i've been accomplishing more and more of my life again (this spring i will go back to cutting firewood) and i've even picked up a few NEW hobbies in life.... Dr. Bitan and the whole team of Atlantic Spine Center ( his whole surgical team as well as office staff -Love you to death Lisa- truly treated me with compassion, understanding (in my darkest hours of pain i was not a pleasant human) and overall REALLY gave me the feeling they cared about my health. they moved mountains for me and i went from putting together end-of-life plans to now living again. i was not sure i would make it to my 50th bday in the end of january, but Dr. Bitan and the team all DID make it happen and now i'm finding more happiness at 50 than i did the last couple yrs of life (turned out this issue had been going on for a couple yrs only on a smaller scale and had built up to life threatening after an incident). i've been sending everyone i talk with through my business (we own a meadery in Erie pa and are on tons of events as well as folks coming to the bar) to Atlantic Spine Center so they can truly find respite and a life again. sorry if i rambled, i'm just THAT happy and excited to have this pain gone AND be able to do my old life PLUS more again. thank you and much love to Dr. Bitan, Lisa and the whole team of Atlantic Spinal Center!!!!!!

Suite 110.. not on the floor you'd expect. Entry is "ground" floor I suppose, and a stair takes you…read moreup... to not the 1st floor. And you walk up another floor to get to Suite 110 on the "1st" floor. Service was quick, a lot of forms, and they have coffee and snacks for those waiting in the big room. Pro - was quick to get in and get an appointment. PT available. Downside was no x-ray/MRI there, and the PT was.. not helpful. Left with more pain than the patient came in with. Hm. Will have to see what their bill is, as they gave us receipts for the payment but not itemized to service.

She just kept telling me to do an MRI and that I needed physical therapy, no crap!! However, I couldn't stand, walk, or sit. I had to be wheeled into the office. How in the world was I going to get through physical therapy when all I could do I lay flat on my back with little movement?!?! Thankfully, after going to the ER immediately afterwards, the doctor on duty gave me the info for a wonderful ortho that I'm now using. So I guess, everything worked out in the end.

They call themselves international orthopedic on the signs in the building. I would avoid this place at any cost. And by the way the average wait time to be seen by anyone in that office is at least 2-3 hours with a scheduled appointment and its not like an actual doctor will see you, there will be a "medical profesional " that you will deal with. This place is one of those fake places that will over bill your insurance for procedures they never performed and make you sign a bunch of paperwork saying they performed such treatments.. i cant stress this enough, do yourself a favor and please stay away from this place.

I needed lower lumbar surgery at multiple levels that turned out to be a lot worse the initially expected. This lead to having to have constant pain management care to help me try and cope with relentless pain. Long story short, dr Ramundo has done everything humanely possible to help me manage and live my best life possible with the use of certain procedures as well as installing a spinal cord stimulator. This helps a great deal and has allowed me to properly rest if not for a few hours multiple times a day .before seeing him i barely caught any sleep because the pain in my back and legs were to severe. Also with the use of certain meds In conjunction other methods allows me to live and get certain things done instead of being bedridden as a middle age man. I can walk my dog again in short spurts as I truly missed these simple things I though I'd never be able to do again . There will always be a great deal of pain and I understand this, however I'm never alone to combat it . He is truly one of the smartest and compassionate men I know not only as my physician, but to man worthy of my deepest appreciation. This in conjunction with his office staff of girls who are always busy working hard for his patients. They are unbelievable kind and friendly . They explain everything and go up and beyond what is expected. Dr Ramundo and Lori and his staff of pain management doctors & assistants are the best at what they do . It's not easy and they are always available so much so I brought my own mom as a patient. She loves them equally as much. Dr Koppel had initiated my treatment after a motor vehicle accident left me unable to work for and…read morebarely able to move. I had gone from working & going to school full-time to being unable to attend a even a single class reliable and made it impossible to work, sleep, or move normally. When numerous other physicians failed to provide relief through meds or attempted procedures and gave up; Dr Koppel developed a treatment plan and we started investigating other procedures that may help. Even though we didn't find a solution over night Dr. Koppel kept trying to find options and eventually found procedures in my neck and back which allowed enough pain relief to develop a new treatment plan and I was able to slowly return to work and school. Dr Koppel has enabled me to return to work full-time and to finish the bachelors degree that had been missing just two semesters. I've now returned to being a functional member of society thanks to Dr Koppel's expertise, experience and compassion.
