His people kept rescheduling my appointment again and again. At NMCC, Dr.Satar was wonderful!!! I don't think many doctors trouble themselves with scheduling and should not have to but if your front desk is horrible they don't know. And it never gets fixed as in the case of Dr. Boulware office. NMCC front desk and scheduling were excellent. I wish I had gone to them first.

They do not answer their phones. They do not return phone calls. They fall through on medication refills constantly. The office staff seems quite unable to do the job. It is really unfortunate. I would not recommend her. Perhaps there are others within her company that would be able to help, but after my experience with her, I don't think I will reach out to anyone else. I had a horrible experience speaking with Trey (who says he's the owner). During a phone call, he…read morerepeatedly called me "baby" and "girl" in an incredibly unprofessional way. I had called because I was frustrated that when I picked up my daughter's prescription, I specifically asked for a pharmacist consultation and was only told that she might need a snack before taking it. I later realized--five days afterward--that the medication was supposed to be refrigerated. When I called to explain that no one had mentioned this and to ask about replacing the prescription, the woman who answered transferred me to Trey without warning. He completely dismissed my concern instead of acknowledging it. I even told him that I understood it was partly my fault for not noticing the label, but also explained that it wasn't clearly visible--and that's why I had asked for the consultation in the first place. Trey said the issue was "debatable," and when I expressed frustration that he was brushing it off, he responded, "That's energy, baby. You get what you put out." That's when I lost it. I told him how wildly inappropriate it was to call me "baby," and he tried to backtrack by claiming he meant my "baby's medicine." He later referred to me as "girl" as well, which was just as disrespectful. The other employees I've interacted with here have always been kind and professional, but Trey was the complete opposite--condescending, dismissive, and inappropriate. This was one of the most unprofessional customer service experiences I've ever had.

I saw Dr. Podila yesterday because I'm still having some pain/discomfort. Without doing much in the way of a physical exam, he said the problem was that I weigh too much. I said I've been hospitalized for anorexia so it's very difficult to hear that from a doctor (I've never heard it from another doctor). He maintained I needed to lose weight to feel better. I told him I would starve myself. He said "for the first 20 pounds, then you can eat." I left and cried for 45 minutes. My husband talked with Dr. Podila on the phone later in the day. He tried to get Podila to understand the gravity of what he'd done. The conversation ended with Podila suggesting we find another GI doc. I saw my internist today. He thumped on my abdomen and heard a hollow sound. I heard it too, as did my husband. He said being distended was the problem, not being fat, and set about devising a treatment plan.

Another time I saw dr Podilla I was extremely sick and he got me in and tried to help asap. The flaw I have with this office however, would be his office staff.
