I just spoke with an administrator at this agency who informed me they are unable to fill a Personal Care Assistance position at this time. Futher, she stated they advertise for thi type of position regularly but get no applications. She stated "Since COVID people are much more picky about the type of work they will do". I am surprised to hear this. My response to her was that I hope people have not lost the capacity for empathy or sympathy for others. read more

Due to our mother's declining health concerns, we found it necessary to look for home healthcare providers. From the beginning, Comfort Keepers stood out in terms of professionalism and caring. The staff that came to take care of our mother was superb. They not only performed the expected duties of cooking, keeping her clean and comfortable but they gave my mom encouragement. I cannot say enough good things about all of the people at CK. I would whole-heartedly recommend them. read more

She always had a big smile for me though which made me feel she felt close to people who cared for her. This is not an easy job but the culture is defined by management.
