Messed up my tire for the price of $200, highly recommend!! Went in there to get a sensor replaced and gave them the obd2 scan. Because of the sensor problem we had to pull a fuse to stop the problem temporarily. When we brought it in they asked us about which fuse we pulled because they weren't labeled, we told them about the diagram on the fuse box lid, they then told us there was a circuit problem, yes because a fuse was taken out, put it back in we told you where the fuse was tucked away. They then sent us a $2400 quote for brakes. Our brakes are fine. This car stops better than our other one. We told them that was not our problem and we wanted the sensor fixed. We were told our brakes were "cooked" and upon hearing this asked to see them to inspect for fraying, chipping and looking warped. The "cooked" brakes look like brakes that were dirty. Almost like they're in a car. We decided these people aren't competent enough to work on our vehicle and told them we would only pay for the diagnosis, which was $200. Over phone I told the front desk worker that we live on donner summit and leaving during a snow storm would be difficult and dangerous, regardless I had to grab it that day or I would be charged with $75 per day or towing. Upon picking it up we left the lot and only drove about like 2 or 3 miles before we were stopped by chain control saying our car was unsafe to drive, we questioned and he told us to investigate the front passenger tire. After pulling over in a gas station we realize that the tire is completely off the bead, completely unsealed. We called them and asked about it and they claimed "my guys never touched your tires", when before they showed us a picture of our brakes but now they never touched our tires. So either worker at the front knows nothing about his work or they showed us someone else's brakes and recommended us a full brake job. The AI chat bots at a bank are more helpful than this guy. They said they couldn't fix it that day but they can charge us for a tow truck. We refused and got a free tow from our insurance. This problem took 3 hours to fix, which involved a tow to Stone's Country Tire which fixed our tire problem for free and in 15 minutes rather than 3 days.

I was afraid I was going to have to leave my Toyota Highlander up there but they were able to replace a fuse for the OBD port, get a diagnosis and replace a bad ignition coil for one of the cylinders. Daniella was very pleasant to speak with on the phone. Grayson at the desk was also reassuring in dropping off the car to at least address the fuse to get an OBD diagnosis. Huge props for these guys for getting me in and out in a few hours during the in-between holiday period. I was able to drive car back to SF without issue.

Over four days, they repeatedly cleared the codes, test-drove the car, and rechecked the system. Eventually, they became fairly certain that the problem was related to rodents chewing on the wiring. Reluctantly, they suggested I take it to a Subaru dealership, as a dealership would have the sophisticated equipment needed to pinpoint the root cause. They hesitated to recommend this because they expected the dealership would charge me a ton of money for troubleshooting. Ward and Son's charged me less than $100 for all the troubleshooting they did over four days, which I think is very reasonable. Even though they weren't able to resolve the problem with my car, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. P.S. They were super friendly people!
