Rutter's Putters Paradise is a small slightly run down mini golf place located next to the side of…read morea gas station, but for what it is, a surprisingly fun time. Let's start with the bad first, this place is in dire need of some new turf, some of the holes just have the concrete pained green. This place also need a nice fresh coat of paint, everything has that slightly worn look to it. The other bad thing is all the holes have a slightly raised lip, making all the holes harder than they need to be. The good things about this course is that it is cheap, only $5 per adult, and $4 per child is a steal. The other good thing about this place is the classic old school feel of this place. It is a very retro course, lots of fiberglass animals, small buildings and things like that, the only thing it was missing was the windmill. It's mini golf that I grew up with. It is also very fun for what it is, this is one of the funner mini golf courses that I played. They also have a shaved ice and ice cream stand here, they have more flavors of shaved than I ever knew existed. The ice cream is pretty cheap and they are very generous with the portions they give. Overall if you want to play some cheap mini golf and go in with the proper expectations this is a good time. Just don't expect a perfect modern course.

This is a great little minigolf course! It's a classic old 60s-70s style with statues and simple…read morearchitecture and obstacles. It used to be owned by Rutter's, but no longer seems to be - but because of this it has a giant cow on one of the holes... Pretty funny overall. At $5 a person, it's a steal, too. I'd definitely recommend it to others.

I really had a great time here with my family. We came here with my two kids, ages 7 and 4 at the…read moretime of the visit and everyone had a blast. To start, the customer service was very strong. Staff were friendly and willing to answer my questions especially in regards to what my youngest kid couldn't/couldn't do. We came here on a Sunday morning and it was not crowded at all. This place is especially great for kids 11 and under, which was perfect since my kids could really do whatever they wanted since there were no crowds. My kids loved the obstacle course and spent forever on it. It's fenced in, and everything is well protected. It also appears to be very-well maintained. We also did the go-carts, which was perfect for my kids. My daughter sat with my wife as a passenger (she's only charged $3 because she can't drive as opposed to the full fee). These are electric go-carts and don't accelerate much, making it very safe for kids who are learning. My son, who is 48 inches could drive on his own and the reduced speed of typical go-cards made learning perfect for him. We also did quite a few laps in 5 minutes. I do think, however, that if they were 12 or older, it wouldn't have been as much fun since again, it's a bit slow compared to typical go-carts. The arcade was fine. Standard arcade stuff. Prices were on the higher end and there wasn't much diversity (there were way too many claw machines IMO). $10 gets you about 5 games, which again, seems high. We did not eat any of the food since we were there before lunch and the options seemed like low-quality arcade food. We also did not do the virtual reality or laser tag this trip. We would definitely return.

Really my biggest complaint about this place is the price for the arcade games are ridiculous and…read morethe prizes aren't worth what you spend to try and win them. Food is okay but you're not going here for the food. Now if you're a Rita's fan they have one inside that's open year round, unlike the main Rita's places. They have decent packages for mini golf, go karts and laser tag. Plus they always have coupons in the Clipper magazine. I've taken my daughter to two different birthday parties here and both felt rushed. If there are several parties going on at the same time the party planners get the times mixed up which eats into your party time. So that needs planned better. I know it's high school kids as staff so you have to expect some hiccups and for the most part they are trying their best. Both party planners we've had were super nice and really seemed to enjoy what they're doing. All and all for a fun family night of mini golf, go karts and some ice cream this place is awesome. Just keep your kids away from the arcade area. For the little kids there is also a really nice climb/tube area for them to get out some energy.
