Made everything understandable because with trash pickup there's always all kinds of policies on extra things outside the original trash cart. He helped me to understand the ins and outs trash pickup. He was very professional and patient. He wasn't upset that I called instead of using the website. Would have given 0 or nagative stars. In July a sales rep showed up at my door, made his pitch including that this was not accepting service. There would be phone call from the office to actually set an account up. I only gave him my first name and phone number. I said I would look up his company before the call. I was not impressed by what I found. I was in a meeting when the call came so I missed speaking with anyone. They left no voice mail and did not call back. A few weeks later bins showed up in front of my house. I called within an hour of their arrival to point out that I had never signed up for their service and told them to remove their bins. I was assured they would come get them. After 5 days I called again. By this time my HOA and a few neighbors had taken an interest in the bins being left on the street. I was told by the representative that basically they would come get them in a few days or so. It wasn't convenient for them to do so sooner. Wow. Their mistake causes me grief and they basically don't give a f**k. There's an insight into their customer service. Between the sleazy sales slam to start with and then their response - why would anyone do business with these people? For the record they did finally come get the bins. I hope this is the last I ever hear from these people. read more

a minute ago New I have been calling since June left 5 voicemails so far. My husband passed away Mothers Day and he signed up for service that would start in Aug. FIrst call was to cancel service as can had not been dropped off and service is in a deceased name. Since then I gave up on trying g to cancel and try to get it in my name and add an extra can. Nothing for 90 days even leaving messages requesting a change of name trying to pay the bill and get an extra can. Again letting them know the service is in a DESEASED person's name I can not even pay bill as I have NO information to account. THIS IS TERRIBLE customer service and with my family having to deal with way bigger issues losing my husband at a very young age and in grief after 5 voicemails someone should try to reach out. read more

I signed up with the auto pay and never received a bin and I cant seem to reach anyone by phone or email. This company has poor customer service and is unresponsive to customer complaints and requests. I store my trash can in my garage because storing it in the back yard and moving it back and forth to the street is very difficult. Since I store the trash can in the garage I do not want water to accumulate in the trash can on rainy or snowy days, where is has potential to create undesirable odors. I have requested from customer service that the driver insures that the lid is closed when they reset the trash bin on the street. The customer service representative that I spoke to said she could not insure the driver would do this. I have also sent several emails with the same request, which went unanswered or dismissed my concerns as "oh well". I contacted my driver one day and asked him to insure that the lid was closed. In one single conversation he gave me three different excuses why he could not honor that request : "it is against company policy", "this truck will not allow for that", and "I would have to get out of the truck and walk around to do that." I advised him that 5 different trash companies service this street during a one week period, three of those companies, including the one that also runs on the same day, use the same trucks with the same method of dumping the bins and he is the only one that drops the bins with the lids open. I pointed out the other companies bins are on the street, empty, with the lids closed. He offered to demonstrate how it works and in doing so he was, with no extra effort able to drop the bin with the lid closed. I cannot recommend this company! When my contract is complete I will pay a few dollars more each quarter to another company with better customer service which is more responsive to its customers. Garbage is not just what they pick up, it's how they operate. read more

I tried to sign up as most of the street was using them and my current service was getting pricey or so I thought- they at least pick up the phone and show up from what I see. I tried to call them but no answer, the excuse is they were out to lunch. They remind me of Lies disposal service which did the same crappy things. Since I was trying to talk to them about my payment form and they can't charge me until it is verified I don't think I will call them back and keep my current service- At least they answer the phone and show up. read more

They have you sign a contract then don't ever show up I've called repeatedly each week that they don't come and they say " the driver is new and doesn't know the route" meanwhile two units down same company comes and picks up that one. I've had MHD for just two months (servicing Englewood) and they already missed two pick-ups. Their customer service is very poor. Their customer service rep basically called me a liar when I said they missed the recycle pick-up...but they somehow managed to pick up my trash that week. Two weeks later, they failed to pick up my trash but somehow remembered to pick up my recycle. Oh, and my next-door neighbor has MHD...and they somehow managed to collect their trash. For such a simple task, their level of incompetence is astounding. And don't believe them when they say they will call you back....they don't. Unfortunately, they've been a waste of my time and money. From earlier reviews, MHD used to be good, so I'm not sure what happened to them now. read more

I was also extremely unhappy that when I sold my house they refused to refund the remaining money for the month even though we paid for 31 days of service and only used 5. They are a rip off. My service provider, Step Up Disposals, just merged with Mountain High. They missed my first pickup and when I called, they told me my trash wasn't out on the street and the customer service person would not believe me when I told him that I set it out a day before pickup. First, they ignored my no soliciting sign, but I did listen to their pitch. I had thought to sign up with this company because their price seemed like a good deal. I was told that my bins would be delivered two weeks before my first pickup, but that did not happen. I have tried to call them repeatedly and left voicemails, but no one has returned my call. When I finally got to actually speak to someone--after being on hold for over 20 minutes without anyone actually picking up my call--I was told this delay was because of the holiday, which should not have had an impact because my bins were to have been delivered before the holiday. Their customer service is impossible to reach and provides shitty service when you are finally able to talk to someone. Avoid this company at all costs! read more

Unfortunately, she was not able to apply any kind of credit to our account, even though we did not receive service for half of the billing period. I used to have Bunting at an Airbnb that I own in Greeley. My cans can't site directly on the sidewalk due to the bus stop right there and I can't place them on the busy 4-lane 23rd avenue. So I built a brick slab 3 feet from the sidewalk. I live 50 miles from the property so I can't drive up there every week (especially in winter) just to move the cans 4 feet so the lazy driver's mechanical arm can reach them...and Bunting NEVER had a problem grabbing my 2 cans from where they are (with an actual HUMAN). When Mountain High took over they consistently ignore my cans (clearly visible) because, apparently they have can't be bothered to provide the service that Bunting did consistently for 5 years. The rental is empty half of the year so they don't half to do ANYTHING 26 weeks out of the year (despite the fact that I pay for the whole year). I sent them photos from Google Earth to show the situation, showed aerial photos, and when I tried to cancel and get a pro-rated refund, these non-professional crooks said they don't give refunds for "pre-purchased services". DO NOT use Mountain High. They're lazy, inconsistent, dishonest and unprofessional. You'll be trapped in a contract for 3 months against your will. I don't think they allow me to give zero stars so here's one for there lousy "service". read more

have been with them for approximately 4 months. Thur 21st. They didn't pick up my trash. unable to get anyone when you need them. Just a hit and miss. Finally got Rica (a rep. ) to help get my trash barrel picked up the following Tuesday. Then on Thursday after my trash was picked up, one of their employees picked up and took my trash can. I am confused as to why this happened. Friday morning called and called until someone answered only to tell me that they don't know why my trash can was collected. Called again only to fined out they will get me a replacement can Tuesday. Mean time I have no place to put my trash. Very disappointed with the service so far. read more

He stated the office would call to confirm, and for payment information. After reading the yelp reviews I decided to stick with my current company. I did not sign up to do business with them. Now I'm getting statements and voicemail messages that my account is past due. I do not have an account, I have never agreed to this service, I do not have their bin and they do not pick up my trash. This company bought the company I was using. It's now been three weeks and they haven't picked up my trash even though I promptly paid my first invoice. I've called over six times, and was told it would be picked up the next day each time, until today when they said they would call me with a resolution in 24- to 48- hours. This company's customer service is ridiculously bad and it's obvious they don't care about their customers. So it's five days later, the dumpster still hasn't been emptied, it's just short of one month now. It's so smelly, I moved the dumpster as far away from the house as I could get it. I appreciate the reply from the owner, but there still hasn't been a resolution and it's becoming a health hazard. At this point the reply was just empty words. Think I'll load their dumpster on a flat bed and take it to their office.... Let them smell it for a while. I'm guessing it would get dumped promptly at that point. read more

They picked up my trash but only emptied half the can. I thought I mistakenly jammed the bottom to where it wouldn't come out but it was loose and should've come out with a proper dumping of the can. I called just a couple hours later to tell them and to have the can emptied. I was told they would have the driver come back by but never did. We sit out every Tuesday and watch the garbage truck come and they always wave and honk for my son.
