There is an outdoor bar and comfortable seating, along with the chairs people brought on their own. This made waiting for our dinner table more palatable. They do not take reservations so first come, first served. Our waitress, Amy, was so lovely and helpful! She took good care of us. Our fried pickles appetizer was delicious, and we all enjoyed our meals. My son in particular loved his burger of the month which, believe it or not, was a PB&J burger! The Jam was raspberry, bacon habanero and onion ... and he said it was great! I had the salmon patty with Cole slaw which was so tasty. The only draw back, and the reason for four stars instead of five, were the French fries. They were really soggy. We should have said something immediately which we didn't - but we did tell Amy as we were leaving and she promised to pass it along to the kitchen. For a good meal, pleasant fast service and a fun atmosphere, Listons is the place to go!

The "cafe" in the name is misleading. We were quickly seated and I looked around at the place. We ordered a pizza and loaded tator tots and some drinks, which were all bottled including the water due to public water contamination. The food came up in about 20 minutes and the pizza was large (they had many sizes and configurations to choose from). The crust was nice though lacking salt, and the sauce was a bit flat. Plenty of cheese and toppings to go around. Strangely, they had ground beef on many of their pizzas but not sausage. Maybe the town likes it better? The tator tots came out with canned cheese sauce, dallops of sour cream, and bacon bits. They were okay, but weren't really crunchy from the frier. Some people prefer them that way too, so I guess I can't complain too much. Prices seemed a bit high for the area. There were flies buzzing around, no doubt because of the large hole in the front screen door. I don't mind dive bars, but sometimes you want a place to take your family for a relaxing dinner. This is not the place.

Ombra -- Subtle. Seductive. Memorable…read more When you are a wine afficionada you seek out the best wine bars wherever you go. Welcome to Ombra in Lenox, MA. Lenox has some really cool spots and Ombra is one of them. Recommended by a local, we stopped here on Valentine's Day after our dinner for a nice glass of wine. The place was crowded but luckily a few people were leaving so we scored some seats at the bar. I ordered a glass of Nebbiolo from Italy which was good. My husband had a beer. The place is so cute and very romantic with dim lights, a great wine selection and their food looked so good. Unfortunately, we were so full that we did not end up ordering anything. Although, the french fries were calling my name. Ombra is a place that I could see us coming to almost every week and not getting tired of it. We met a local who is very nice and told us how Ombra is very popular. I think we will have to come back in the spring/summer to get those french fries :) If you are ever in Lenox definitely make your way to Ombra for a nice glass of wine or try a cocktail. This is the perfect date night spot for sure whether you start or end your evening here, you will be happy! Cheers~
