I loved this ride. The horses were beautiful, trained and well cared for. We rode on a trail left behind by cows from a former dairy. We had an incredible view of Hunter and Wyndham and the weather was perfect. Quinn was our guide and showed us interesting spots like the old tap lines that were used to extract syrup from the maple trees. I loved it and will do it again if I make it back next summer. Well worth it.

I've been to Mountain Brook twice and have already booked another ride before the end of the season. The horses are clearly well-trained, responsive, and well cared for. Quinn is a great guide and I always felt secure. The trails are a good mix of shady forest and beautiful views of the surrounding hills and valley. A great two-hour ride!

I'm not I could review this place in a way that really gives it justice. From the moment you arrive you feel at home and feel the passion and love Nancy has not just for her beautiful animals but for her special piece of the world. The trail ride was spectacular and we were given not just a peaceful incredible view but some knowledge of the area and some history of the farm. I will ABSOLUTELY do this again if I'm in the area. Thank you Mountain Brook Farm and Nancy for a truly glorious experience of Gods masterpiece. You are a gem.

We had a great time horseback riding at mountain brook farm! The horses were saddled up when we arrived, after some quick introductions with the horses Buff, Tallahassee and Claus we embarked on a ride that took us through tree lined trails and grassy mountainside meadows full of wild roses, apple trees, deer and song birds. Don't forget to bring your camera for pics at the top overlooking windham, Hunter and blackhead ranges. Thank you to Quinn and the crew! Also make sure to check out the donkeys and goats when you get back.

A lesson with John! Very successful! Building strength and confidence! Feeling safe!

An amazing trail ride at the farm yesterday! Kim was amazing and expertly took my friend and I on the Partridge trails! The view was breathtaking and the horses were perfect! Daisy and Quin! Thank you Nancy!

Not sure where to begin!! Her pictures do not do justice to this place...it is right out of a magazine. Nancy was so accommodating to us. We have crazy work schedules and she managed to make time for us. She matched my wife and I with the perfect horses for our riding abilities. The trails were absolutely breath taking. If you are looking for a once in a lifetime experience please check this place out!!

Quinn told as little stories about the area and local nature, and made the walk even better.

We booked in advance, received a confirmation, and even got a second confirmation email--only to arrive and find that no one was there. There was no phone number listed on the website or in the emails, so we had no way to contact anyone to figure out what was going on. After waiting and searching for a way to reach someone, we finally had to leave with a very disappointed child. Four hours later, we received an email claiming they had previously emailed us (we never received anything) and that there had been an emergency with the trainer. While emergencies happen, the response didn't feel sincere, and the complete lack of communication in the moment was frustrating. This was supposed to be a highlight of our trip, but instead, it was a huge letdown. Given the positive reviews, we expected much better. If you're considering booking here, be warned--there seems to be a serious lack of reliability and customer service. We won't be trying again.
