I was contacted by Abraham Torres in the Spring of 2022 to arrange for work to be completed from a…read morebid he submitted on October 5, 2021. The work included completing three concrete aprons, one to replace the damaged attached garage driveway apron and other two were added as an entrance and exit for the shop lean-to. We arranged to begin the work June 21, 2022. He informed me that he and 3 additional individuals would arrive that day and begin prepping and setting up forms on the job site. I discussed with him and agreed to increases in material costs and a change from rebar to wire mesh, which increased the cost to $7000. The job proposal required 4 workers to complete the project in 3-5 days. They failed to complete the remaining day(s) as per the estimate, only working 2 days, one day with 4 individuals and the 2nd day finished with only 2 individuals. Concrete was splashed on the existing adjacent concrete slab in front of the shop door as well as the lower metal shop siding and corner mouldings of the lean-to. I had to purchase Liquid Hammer for $30 to remove the dried concrete splashed on the metal siding and corner mouldings. In addition, they damaged the bullnose edge of my garage concrete with either the loader or the jackhammer and never returned to repair the damage. They did not backfill along the edges of each apron with appropriate soil and replace the grass. At the time they completed my project they were unlicensed, even though they requested 50% of the estimate. If considering their utilization for a concrete project, ensure they work to their written contract, mask existing concrete and building surfaces, backfill along new concrete edges, and repair any damage done to existing concrete surfaces, edges, or buildings. Do not make a final payment until those conditions are met.

Was quoted almost 4k to re set the shims/ level my home. Booked the date and was told half up…read morefront half upon completion very odd way of confirming my down payment made me a little uncomfortable but I went ahead . Was told the process would be half a day ( approximately) it took ONE hour... There was no communication I didn't get a receipt a listing of any supplies ( which to have it redone would be cheaper with THEIR equipment) new measurements showing I was level pictures a walk thru questions answered nothing.. it was payment is now due thank you have a good weekend.. I emailed and got the "quality control" guy to come out the following week. I asked a few questions but felt like I was a waste of his time and he's : trying to teach the guys about customer service: he went under the house said everything was secure and left ... No one said anything about the 3 inch gap between my home and the foundation/ wall that STILL needed to be repaired/ re leveled. Very noticeable.. as you could see the back yard thru the gap. so disappointed in this company! We had to hire another contractor to get that level. Ridiculous!! I trusted them to repair my HOME!! It's my HOME it may be a 'job' to you but I'm paying YOU. I choose you. And now I am sorry .
