However my recent experience was totally different from the 1st. I had to go though emergency, was placed in the lower floor, probably because I has pneumonia. They were able to pinpoint what was wrong with my father and did surgery the same day. With technology as advanced as it is, he was out just hours later. Without the kidney stone that was torturing him. If you need a hospital, MSSM is a good pick.

Very good care. This office has recently updated their…read morefacilities on the right lower level, and are currently updating more facilities on the lower floor. All doctors I've seen, my GP and also other doctors when mine was unavailable, have been lovely. They have finally fixed a lot of their appointment making issues and now have a modern online appointment scheduling system with app compatibility, but also now have way less availability than previously for some reason. The past two times I've needed quick care, I wasn't able to get an appointment for nearly a week. (Ended up going to urgent care for help instead) A minimum of 5 days for a pressing issue is normal. They don't allow you to walk in and wait for an opening to pop up. Overall, the care is VERY good when you can get in and I hope they will continue to do updates with updates to the upstairs as well.

Incredibly rude staff & nurses, some are okay, but many lack kindness & professionalism. i had to admit my father today & this was the worst visit we've had here yet! While signing in at the emergency room desk & explaining the serious situation we had going on the receptionist was actually watching tiktoks & grinning at her phone. I thought nurses were suppose to be comforting & nurturing, but every single one we encountered had the worst attitude. Not only to us & my father but to every other patient around us. One nurse seriously yelled & got nasty with an elderly patient telling her to "RELAX, STOP" & to "TAKE A NAP". Overall a really dissatisfying experience.
