I went to the college as a student 20 years ago for their IT program and then left for a while. When I went back 10 years later they were still teaching the same outdated programs. I then took a job as a senior level IT manager and tried to change the program to get them up to date with the technologies needed to actually get a job and was shot down each time. I was certified in all technologies like Microsoft, Cisco etc. and had worked in NYC for some the most prestigious Fortune 500 companies and knew what was needed to get hired in the technology field. I continued to change the department and restructure things within the department but my boss (the CIO) always took credit for my successes because he was so incompetent and couldn't come up with any improvements himself. I decided to leave10 years ago and nothing has changed since I left. I found the MSMC staff to be complacent, lazy and most never worked in anything other than education. For a degree in IT run the other way and look at schools like Marist or Pace university. Not surprised that they have so many problems with crime and worse on campus. I would never send my daughter to this school which I believe is still not safe and hasn't done enough to resolve all of their program and safety issues. read more
