Not to mention cheap - just $5 for adults and $2 for kids. Opened in 1811, closed in 1965, and reopened as a museum just one year later in 1966, it's a fascinating look at one aspect of our country's history. The whole building, including the exercise yard with accompanying gallows, is open to the public. Signs throughout the building and small exhibits were incredibly helpful and informational. The woman who sold us admission was very friendly and helpful, and there were two other employees who were giving free tours around the building. If you're into haunted places, this place is also apparently a hotbed of paranormal activity and has hosted many investigators over the years. The main cell upstairs where the most hardened criminals spent their last nights on earth is allegedly where the most activity is. The prison is also right in downtown Mt. Holly so it's easy to make a day of it and walk to one of the many restaurants on the Main Street and explore the historic buildings. Definitely recommended!

We took a walk on the boardwalk, ate some fudge and also took in some art at the Noyes Art Garage. We finished our tour at Angelo's on Fairmount and this was phenomenal! It was an awesome tour guided by Audrey and she is the best! She is very knowledgeable of the town's history and the different cultures and cuisines. The mansion grounds are open to explore, and they keep the landscaping in good condition. You can wander around many of the buildings as well, and we stumbled upon an art gallery made entirely of repurposed materials (such as some awesome dryer lint portraits; I wish I could remember the artist's name!). If you venture into the park definitely check out their floating trail (i.e. a walking bridge that spans the entire lake) and their butterfly garden (which houses mostly moths but is still cool). I found this place really enjoyable, and even romantic to walk around it with your partner. Definitely the best park in Burlington county.

So I knew he would love it. This museum is volunteer based, and the items in this museum are by donation, from pictures to models to the uniforms. History and fascinating facts on the items displayed. I took a lot of pictures because it was so interesting, I think this is a great place to bring kids. They can see a fighter jet up close, see model aircrafts, and read up on aviation history. It was about a 50 min drive on back roads from my town, which I prefer to the HWY. Anyway, enjoy the pictures, and I hope you drive out to see it . There is also a wonderful cafe right across the parking lot called Runway Cafe, where you can watch local planes take off and land while you enjoy breakfast or lunch.

I take my 2 y. o. granddaughter nearly every week. There are so many wonderful things to explore…read moreand learn from. They have a walking path through the woods with a natural playground and sandbox, a bird house building to watch and interactive displays, a mini zoo inside a house with small animals and activities including a treehouse. They also have weekly activities and seasonal events for elementary school kids. My granddaughter calls Briar Bush "The Animal House" and loves to put a donation in the collection box before we leave.

My girlfriend doesn't. But I like the thrill of things that scare me or you can say I like to compromise and make my girlfriend happy though she knew nothing about this until I told her haha. Vlad is a great guy- funny, attentive, and accommodating. It was about a 30 minute tour of Pocono and he was very informative and I would say caring. He asked us several times if we were ok and was overall a great pilot. It was much more fun than I expected! The views were beautiful and I can honestly say we'll book with him again when we are there in the summer for a different tour! Plenty of pictures were taken and he took pictures of us with the plane at the end. A little pricey but I'll say it was worth it for the experience. Give him a shot, you won't regret it!
