I visited and dropped in a class last Tuesday and Samantha got us into a great workout. This community is super friendly and welcoming. There's a plus to this place as well, it is close to the water so you can get a great view if you run around the corner- especially if you do a 400m run here! Jessie and Luke, the owners, are great down-to-earth guys and will be able to help you get started! Thanks Sam for the MU- WoD, it was pretty intense! This gym is exceptionally clean, they provide clean hand towels and small sanitizer bottles. A lot of gyms don't do that. The equipment is top notch, with an excellent variety of cardio treadmills, stationary bikes, rowing machines, stair climbers, and cable weight machines to target any part of your body you want. There is also a big free weight area with multiple bench press/ squat racks, two deadlift platforms, preacher curl bench, linear. leg press .. the list goes on and on!! The three restrooms are very clean, well stocked, and provide some necessary incidentals. Now for the staff: Amazing.!! So kind and welcoming, extrem knowledgeable and friendly.. All of them clearly love what they do, and their enthusiasm is contagious and inspiring. i can't say enough about how great they all are! The owner has done an absolutely fantastic job outfitting this gym, and has hired the best trainers available. it's a really great gym, and i'm thankful to all the people who make up it's community and especially the trainers!

I started going here regularly this Fall when I began school at WWU. I love it! The facility is…read moreclean and beautiful. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. This gym includes plenty of equipment for both cardio and strength training. It has a track which overlooks several basketball courts (which are also used for things such as volleyball and badminton). There is a rock wall which is used for bouldering and belaying. They also have a pool and hot tub. When I visit I usually attend one of the many classes that are taught here. All the instructors are great, and classes vary to accommodate all fitness levels. The best part is that unlimited classes cost only $45 per quarter! Classes are normally $5 each, so you save quite a bit if attending more than one each week. Personal training is also inexpensive, though I have never tried it. To attend this gym you have to be affiliated with WWU in some way, though you are able to attend as a guest if you are attending with a current member. Membership is free for students taking 6+ credits, and inexpensive for anyone else who qualifies for membership.

After 30 days of membership at the location you join, you can use any Anytime Fitness facility ANYWHERE! This location is actually owned by the same folks as the downtown Lynden and Blaine locations, so you can use any of the 3 immediately. There is also a location. In Bellingham, but different owners. This place is CLEAN!!! September is always cleaning when she is there, plus the members are super good about wiping down the equipment after each use. I have never had to wait on a piece of equipment. Plenty of cardio and weight machines, as well as a squat rack and bench, and lots of free weights. There is a separate room where they do classes (spin, I think, for example), and there are TRX straps, resistance bands, and smaller hand weights in there. There are 4 or 5 TV's plus some of the cardio machines have TV's with Live TV, Netflix, and Hulu. Music is usually classic rock at a sane volume which works for me!! We really like this gym and would recommend it to anyone who wants a chill place to work out. Members are typically quiet and keep to themselves.

This gym uses wet wipes and there was nothing to clean machines with, so on top of no mask there was no way clean items between people. Saw people using machines with no cleaning between. If you are in the area a good solid gym. My current Anytime gym has spacing between cardio machines & they are not currently spacing very well. I would suggest B'ham Anytime gyms if you want to be a little more COVID safe.
