We headed here on a Sunday morning and it was very quiet. We ended up upgrading our tickets for a few bucks each to "premiere" seats. These seats had adjustable head rests, wider arm rests, and seat warmers. There were dividers to the sides of the seat for added privacy, a coat hanger, and a little spot for storing bags. I thoroughly enjoyed these seats and would happily get the upgrades again in the future. I had no complaints about the picture or sound quality of the movie and the theater was at a good temperature.

We got two large popcorn with drinks and both the popcorn and drink size seems to be smaller than what you get at Cineplex and the popcorn doesn't quite taste as good but still delicious. I do appreciate how they are matching Cineplex's promotion of free refill with purchase of a large popcorn or drink. The Premiere seats are spacious and recliner really well. I was comfortable during the whole entire movie and appreciate how there's also a place to hang your jacket. Busy but nice cinema with long line ups at the concession stand. Will be back to try it again.

Apparently the owner of this successful import export company sold the building to the city of Vancouver at the beginning of the 20 th century for the construction and widening of the western stretch of Pender Street. In 1912, the owner hired architects who designed a steel structure with a second story of bay windows. The building was busy, public baths and barber shop were located in the basement and offices on the second floor and shops on the main floor. The Sam Kee Building is now home to Jack Chow insurance.

The large hanging bell in the center dedicates the Lillian Yap Circle to the community. Look for even more historic signage around the surrounding blocks for additional notes of Chinatown's historic past and role in Vancouver development.

This Preston operated in the Puget Sound for decades removing snags, logs and hazards from the navigable waterways. The boat is well-preserved, with all of the gauges, controls, boilers and other equipment in place. The curators have binders full of pictures of the crew and operations over the years. You enter the boat in the engine room, are greeted by a curator, then turned loose to explore the rest of the vessel on your own. The first deck is machinery space, the second deck is crew accommodations and the third deck is the galley, wheelhouse and officer's quarters. $5 entry fee. I recommend setting aside about an hour to explore the boat and take it all in.

Salmon canning was once the major industry for this area. Today tourists flood into here throughout the year for a step back in time & to catch a glimpse of site locations throughout the village for many movie & TV productions! The hugely popular TV show - Once Upon a Time, was shot in Steveston Village! The Fishermans Wharf on the Fraser River draws many a crowd through the summer who come to buy fresh fish right off the docked boats. There are many cool & popular shops & restaurants in Steveston Village! It's worth a trip or two here & plan to spend at least a few hours slowly wondering around & taking a walk about Garry Point Park. This evening I came across the Christmas set production of a Hallmark TV holiday movie. Come to SV & be ready to take lots of pictures!
