    Hi, i am writing on here as i have also had a bad experience with loughborough car sales…read more On the 19th July 2011 i bought a 2002 Ford fiesta for £1775 and part exchanged my own vehicle, a pegeout 306 for £100. When i went to pick up the car i found out that it had no tax, so i had to go to beumont leys to get that.. then on the way home my car started to smoke from under the bonnet. At first i thought it was cleaning fluid that had been spilt on the engine so i continued with my journey via the M1. The engine started to overheat, the engine light came on and my car started to lose speed. I had to pull over onto the hard shoulder and call out recovery. I was told that as there was no water in my car when i bought it, the head gasket had gone and now my engine has ceased up. I am so angry with this company because the warranty does not cover me for the head gasket and they have basically said that i will have to pay a fee in order to get the car fixed, they also expected me to get it towed to a garage which would cost me more money. Im a mum of a 5 year old little boy and i really do not have the money spare to get this car fixed so i am now taking them to court!

We rang…read moreJunction 26 early morning to say we would be travelling an hour and a half to visit there garage as we had seen a car that they had for sale using an ebay selling page, we spoke to an assistant who really seemed like he couldnt be bothered who said the car was in excellent condition, came with a years warranty, a full mot and was 6 months taxed. Sounded good and as described so we made the journey.........on arrival no one was to be seen for 15 minutes and so we found the car and checked it over, it was a mess, there was chipped paint all over and was missing door trims! Not at all how the pictures were presented. Further to that, there was no tax, there was 2 months remaining mot and the warranty was not included. He said the car would not be sorted out and ready to sell for another 4 days. What a waste of time they are.

    Reviews Left By Me…read more Purchased a Seat Altea in the the first week of August. Within 2 days I came across 2 issues, these being the heater/cooler fans not working, and also an issue with the central locking on one of the back doors. After 2 calls of me chasing them up I took the car in to be checked on site. Was told to come back the following day and see the gentleman who dealt with my sale. A week later they had booked it into a repair centre near to their site. On the evening prior to my repair date I phone the garage to check their opening times to be told J26 prestige cards had their account on stop.... and that no repairs would therefore be carried out on my car. 2 more visits to J26 I was told to being my car back to their site the following week. This I did. They had my car for a week and after lots of chasing them all week, I was told 7 days later nothing had been done to my car and they had lost my spare set of keys. I took my car home and was told to bring it back the following week. I did and the 48 hour repair turned into 3 weeks!!!!! I did get a loan car after the first week but this was unfit to drive, a massive dint on the side and warning lights glowing on the dashboard once I started up the car. Its now mid Oct, I have my car back and it is fixed but I still dont have a replacement key for the one they lost. Their staff openly agree they have lost my key but the owener refuses to pay. DO NOT BUY from here, they are underhand, lie cosntantly and have no idea of customer service in the slightest. Worst experience in my life.
