Went in after finding 2 cars I was looking for on Autotrader…read more Firstly PRESENTATION! I looked around the first vehicle to find it badly scratched on the wing and the bumper looked like it had been sprayed by Stevie Wonder! I then looked at the second car to find it poorly valeted with again damage to the bumper. The sales person did say that it would be repaired before collection should I wish to purchase. If I were in the game of selling an expensive item such as a car I would at least make effort to ensure any repairs were done before showing it in public, it's just embarrassing! Secondly THE PRICE! The 2 vehicles I looked at were reasonably over priced - you expect this to a degree with a garage. But then not to haggle? Apparently they have a fixed price policy! No road tax thrown in - not a sausage! You could argue that the vehicles are keenly priced with no margin for reductions but I can assure anyone that I have looked high and low and know the general price of the particular vehicle I'm after. Finally NO TEST DRIVE BEFORE CREDIT CHECKS!?!?!? I had organised a broker to deal with my financial affairs as my case is a little complex due to my employment. I explained this to the sales person who advised me the broker I used wasn't reputable and he could get me a much better deal with their own. Not only was the percentage higher, but I was embarrassingly declined. But I was given no option to test drive any vehicle until the finance was in place. That then left me talking to my broker on the phone asking about prices and deals - Bear in mind, I have finance already in place to proceed and I'm still not offered to drive the vehicle. At this point I made the decision to leave as my better half had called to tell me of a better deal AT A MAIN DEALERSHIP!! Comes to something when you get a better deal from Honda themselves! In short - I won't be wasting my time there again ever!

In my opinion a dealer shows his colours when things go wrong. Im hoping this won't happen! If it does I will re submit. 1st impressions are good though.

Hi, i am writing on here as i have also had a bad experience with loughborough car sales…read more On the 19th July 2011 i bought a 2002 Ford fiesta for £1775 and part exchanged my own vehicle, a pegeout 306 for £100. When i went to pick up the car i found out that it had no tax, so i had to go to beumont leys to get that.. then on the way home my car started to smoke from under the bonnet. At first i thought it was cleaning fluid that had been spilt on the engine so i continued with my journey via the M1. The engine started to overheat, the engine light came on and my car started to lose speed. I had to pull over onto the hard shoulder and call out recovery. I was told that as there was no water in my car when i bought it, the head gasket had gone and now my engine has ceased up. I am so angry with this company because the warranty does not cover me for the head gasket and they have basically said that i will have to pay a fee in order to get the car fixed, they also expected me to get it towed to a garage which would cost me more money. Im a mum of a 5 year old little boy and i really do not have the money spare to get this car fixed so i am now taking them to court!
