For the longest time, I only took my cars to…read moredealerships because I thought they were the "safe" choice, but honestly, I had nothing but headaches. I got lucky when a friend pointed me toward Dave's Auto, and I haven't looked back since. The way they communicate puts every dealer I've ever used to shame, they're straightforward, won't feed you any lines, and they always call to confirm the cost before they even touch the car. Best of all? I've never had to bring a vehicle back because something wasn't fixed right the first time. If you're sick of overpaying and crossing your fingers that the work is done right, do yourself a huge favor and call these guys. And whatever you do, ask for Tyson-he's the shop foreman, and the man is an absolute wizard. He handles diesels, gas engines, and imports all day long, but his real superpower is diagnosis. He finds issues that other shops completely miss. I'd hand him the keys to any car I ever buy without a second thought

I cannot dock them a star for this, though; that would be like penalizing them for being too good. If you need machine work done on your car's engine, this is definitely the place.
