Upon the recommendation of a friend, who raved about how good MotorHaus service was when they worked on his BMW. I decided to give Diego & Martin a shot with my 2016- 740 BMW which just ran out of factory warranty, 2 months earlier. Plus I didn't want to pay the exorbitant fee's at the BMW dealership. If you're relying on the iPhone's GPS system/TomTom, you may or may not get here (due to the unincorporated area). Once I encountered the possibility of the latter, I gave Martin a ring. He directs me to make a right on Okechobee EB, and right on church street which turns into Latham Street, and there I'd find him at the end of street. My husband found this place because of its great reviews on Yelp, and the prices were another winning factor. I cannot say enough good things about MotorHaus. I live in Charlotte NC and if it wasn't an 11 hour drive to West Palm, MotorHaus would be my regular mechanic. We were driving to Miami for Xmas and I got a "low coolant level" warning on my X5... we had just had the water pump and thermostat replaced so I was a little curious why I was having coolant system problems. We pulled into the West Palm turnpike rest stop and my wife found MotorHaus on Yelp. I called and Martin said to leave the car and drop the keys in the box, as it was 445PM.. and he also recommended a towing company that did a fantastic job helping us out. Long story short, Martin fixed the problem within a couple of hours the next day... the issue was a hose that somehow became disconnected while on our drive... he reconnected it and conducted a thorough series of tests to make sure the hose didn't need to be replaced. When I went to pick up the car, he had a dossier with all of the tests he ran and a photo of the problem... throw in the fact I think you can eat off the floor of his waiting room, it was so clean, and you have yourself an amazing repair shop for your BMW, should you ever need one. I am tempted to schedule an oil change with him in March when we drive down for Spring Break because I know it will be done better than any other repair shop you could find in the area! read more

Martin was literally a financial-life saver. I flew into West Palm Beach to buy a BMW that has been advertised as nothing wrong by a dealership. I took the BMW to Martin for a pre-purchase inspection. I knew nothing about Martin before arriving in West Palm other than the fact that he had great reviews on Yep and Google. Immediately upon walking up to the car, Martin noticed some suspect things about it that would only be noticed by the highly-trained eye (which are too long and detailed to write here; I am trying with my thumbs). Relevant here, Martin noticed that the bumper was a different shade than the rest of the car. I could not appreciate the color difference, nor could the guy with me, but Martin did. A red flag to Martin. Next, Martin lifted the hood and noticed paint scrapes around certain screws, which Martin explained meant that the side fenders had been removed. Another red flag for Martin. Martin kept following these red flags and he discovered something that the dealership concealed and the CARFAX report did not disclose: frame damage. I almost bought a car with frame damage. If you are buying a car, take it to Martin. I suspect he would be just as great at servicing a car. While talking to him, I discovered that he formerly worked at the BMW dealership. He is extremely nice, soft spoken, and beyond knowledgeable. This guy saved my behind. read more

I am writing this review because not only was the service good on the car, but the customer service was great. I called Friday to report a error message on my wife's X3 and they told me what they thought the issue was and to bring it in first thing Monday. We came in at 8 am and left at 9 am. Even though it was just a battery change they needed to register the battery to the car. It was about 42 percent cheaper as well then the dealership wanted. They take pride in their work and they just earned a new customer because of their honesty, quality of works, and customer service. Thank you! PS. I went to Martin for service in 2018. Martin told me a part needed to be replaced and I agreed. Later on I realized the part was covered under warranty with BMW and he should have referred me to the dealership which would have done it for free (if he were honest). I would be very wary of doing business with Martin and I would recommend to always double check every repair that he wants to do. It is common for him (and other mechanics) to oversell (rip you off) you on parts and service. read more

My relationship with Motorhaus began when I was looking for a second opinion. The local BMW dealership told me after $1,000 and one week of analysis my engine was falling apart from the inside and that I would need to repair the engine for $25k or replace for $35k. Well, there I was, cruising in my X3 from Miami going to Port St. Lucie doing about 75 in the middle lanes of I-95 when my car just quit. No warning, just stopped running. I coasted to the side of the road and assessed my options. The car had overheated somehow and a safety in the engine had shut it off apparently. Of course, I whipped out my smartphone and began to look for a repair shop. Turned out Martin and his new MotorHaus BMW shop was just off the exit just ahead of me...he was so close, I took the risk and limped the car over after it had cooled down. Best decision I ever made. Martin listened to my story (this is Friday mid-morning by the way) and took the car straight in to the shop. After a quick assessment he determined the issue was likely an intermittent electric water pump.....a quick estimate later, I went about my business in a rented car (enterprise was just around the corner) and was able to pick my car up at closing time and return to Miami on the same day. This shop was spotless, and Martin was very professional, and appreciated my situation. I am writing this review several weeks later and I can tell you I have had no issues with my car since. Brought my 2003 525i in for an oil change as it had been almost 2 years since the last one and only 1500 miles driven since then. Diego took the time to review a few items that needed to be repaired such as seat adjustment, AC button and plastic insert in arm rest. Diego was very knowledgeable about the car and BMWs' overall. He advised on not spending money on some things which is rare to find with any business these days. Diego said the car was in excellent condition and suggested on the next visit to replace a few minor items that were past due on service. I was in and out with the oil change and inspection in 45 minutes. The shop and waiting lounge were cleaner and more comfortable than the Braman dealer across the street. I had been servicing my car with an excellent shop in Davie FL for years since it came off of the warranty however it was over an hour away and MotorHaus is a 20 minute drive.
