I can't thank the City enough for providing two free motorcycle parking zones in Edmonton so far. This one is located downtown near the CN building by 101 Street (across from the Bacarat Casino). The other is located on Jasper Avenue (south side of street between 107th and 108th Streets).
They are both highly used and the City provided them to "promote that kind of more environmentally friendly transportation,".
I use them both quite a bit in the summer when I ride a lot. It's great to have a zone where we aren't taking up a whole parking space and where our bikes aren't in harms way from inattentive drivers/parkers.
Kudos to the City on this and I hope to see other zones pop-up in other useful areas of the City as well! read more
This free motorcycle parking no longer exists. The city now has 'Diamond parking' run pay parking on this street.
Likely because the new arena is directly across the street. read more
From May 23, 2017, there is a $3 charge at CN - still reasonable I guess. Pay using the parking machine. I wonder about the Jasper lot as I'll be downtown again next week. read more
