Very very bad service, will never deal with these guys again. At first, I thought I'd take a gamble and ordered some Dainese Druid gloves which were ready to ship in 3-5 days at approx. $230 AUD. They were good in the first instance, took about 6 days then they emailed to say that my item had been shipped. Got it in 2 weeks. In January I purchased a Dainese Crono 1pce suit which was knowingly not yet in stock for $880 AUD. Of course, they take your money straight away which is a scam if they have no stock! Then I hear nothing for 4 days. Get an email saying my item is on Backorder but they have contacted Dainese and the item will not be produced at all, mind you the email was in german so I couldn't understand any of it and had to use google translater! So I emailed them and said that they should not be advertising items that are not being made, and that I would like a refund of my money. Again, I wait for 4 days, again another email the same as before but this time in english and asking if I wanted another color or something else! So I reply with, I ordered what I wanted, you don't have it, give me back my money. Another 3 days, no response. I call them, mind you it took 10 goes to get through from Australia, don't know what the hell is wrong with the phone lines these days. I got Alina, she was okay with english, a bit of luck there! I give her my details and tell her I want my refund, she says hang on, goes away and comes back and says it will be put through tomorrow, check your accounts then. Finally, another 3 days later I get my money, but I lost $55 AUD in the transfer because our dollar had gone higher in the excahnge rate. Mother F*#king joke of a transaction for which I got shafted! Never again, don't waste your time and PLEASE, for the sake of some more money go somewhere you can get decent service and they won't stuff you around. No one should be taking your money if the stock isn't in or the order hasn't been filled. read more

This has to be the worst online experience I have ever had, after their website provided no update on my order I decided to send them an email asking if my order had been shipped and on its way already as I hoped it would be.. to my complete and utter disappointment they finally replied to my email a week later saying sorry we do not have this item any longer. Long story short it has been over a month now and upon saying they could get another item, then saying they cant get the other item etx, they're finally shipping the original item in a slightly larger size. Communication has been terrible. Sometimes not receiving a reply for up to 8 days. I found that they didnt have alot of the items their website says they have in stock (trust me alot of back and forth and the replies were we do not have this item ) so if you think you can buy something at a great price, be prepared to be charged straight away and maybe in a few weeks you'll be notified that it actually isnt in stock and choose something else that might not be such a good price. Very bad customer service, ordered items supposedly in stock or in short availability. Nother arrived, never contacted me, I had to mail them again and again to find out that one item was not in stock and I had to wait. Again, nothing, no item, no news. For months. Again email after email, I changed one item from my order with one that was in stock. Again it took very long for them to finally ship my order. I got the items that I ordered for the Summer season in Winter, great If I hadn't checked again and again and mailed them again and again they probably would never haver shipped, they would have forgoten about it (money was prepaid using PaPal). If I were them I would have offered to ship free of charge whatever item was in stock after all these months or offer a refund, they didn't even say sorry Would I buy from them again? Probably not, maybe only if something's in stock, much cheaper than anywhere else, and know that I won't have to return it for sizing issues etc read more

Very disappointed by the allegedly honest Germans.and then they dare to blame Italians (=me). Week1: Ordered boots listed at ~$395 vs ~$499 average internet price. Motoin withdrew money from my card immediately, it took them a week to come back to me saying:the item is not available and we don't know when it'll become available again. Do you want to order a different model?. If I order boots that go under the suit I don't want any other stuff, otherwise I keep my current boots. I followed up saying I wanted a refund. Week2: I wrote an additional email, no reply. Then I called them and I spoke with a person with less than functional English. She confirmed they received the email and the refund was under-way. Refund was available by the end of the week Bottom line: these guys kept my money locked for 10days during which they got interest and I didn't. Now imagine what happens on the whole amount of their orders. Next time I will order on ebay. read more

Made a pre-order for a leather suit back on 30/11/2012, which was stated on their site that it will be available in Janurary, paid right away and waited till yesterday with absolutely NO updates on my order. Sent them a few emails enquiring about my order status since early Jan with no replies. Finally received an email tonight simply telling me that sorry, the order has been cancelled with ABSOLUTELY NO REASON. Meanwhile they asked me to check with my credit card whether i have received a refund and yes i did. However the refund was done back on 03/12/12, which was 4 days right after my purchase. First I have wasted like almost 2 months waiting for a suit and now i feel like a clown. Secondly due to exchange rates my refund was US$60 LESS THAN WHAT I HAVE PAID FOR MY PURCHASE so i am paying 60 bucks for nothing. Very very bad service. read more

Well, their email response rate definitely needs improvement and coordination. Sometimes a different person would respond to an email and have no clue what the discussion started with or would give incomplete answers to my inquiries. Their problem is the actual customer service. As for the products I ordered: Sidi Vortice boots, Rev'it Tarmac lether jacket, Sas-Tec Back protector, Held Phantom gloves, Held bike cover. Everything arrived in one package with no damage at all and was the same size as I ordered; so the actual products were great. Delivery fare was the most reasonable I came across but delivery time was just under double the estimated time through DHL. All in all, save for the frustration of the unaswered emails..which is stressful when you order stuff worth 800Euros, I would give the entire experience a 7/10. read more

Without doubt the WORST online non-purchase ever. I say non-purchase because they had a leather motorcycle jacket listed as ready to ship in 3-5 days and then after they take your money and charge your card tell you that it is on back order for another 7-10 days. Then have the audacity to ask if you want to wait that long ? I had to file a dispute with my credit card merchant and request credit charge back as I will NEVER deal with these bunch of amateurs again.What a disgrace and embarrassment to the German people and their usual professionalism. I've ordered a pair of Gaerne Balance Oiled boots from MOTOIN.DE. Their website showed that they would be able to deliver within 5-7 days. Shortly after placing the order i received an email stating that they would not be able to deliver the boots until 14 days later. I was off course disapointed. The company is a bit slow to answer emails. But, MOTOIN.DE delivered faster than 14 days. Great. Unfortunatly the boots was a size to small. I filled out the return formula and send the boots back to Germany again. Within days a new par of boots was underway to Denmark. Great service, even free of charge. Bottom line. Really disappointed with the very poor service. Ordered a helmet and com pack for urgent delivery which they said was in stock three weeks later it hadn't arrived when i followed the late delivery up I was told they didn't have it in stock. Why did they take my money when they knew they didn't have the stock? why did they say they had it in stock? why did it take them three weeks to confirm they didn't have any of the items? Time wasters unprofessional jeopardised my African adventure trip where these items were essential..waiting for my refund!!! read more

Products came perfect (Singapore). Service was really bad. They don't deliver the products promptly even though they said the stock will leave in 48hrs after they already charged you. The info@motoin.de people don't reply. I ordered on the 19.2.2013 and the items came a month later after repeated pestering. At least one of the lady from the service@motoin.de was nice and bothered to reply. Would i order again? Nah even though they have pretty good selections, but having to pester for items that i paid for, it's simply not worth the time and effort. read more

Excellent service and great website. The product (Dainese suit) arrived within 3 days and price was £220 less than anywhere in the UK so would definitely use again. I saw the suit £50 cheaper in Italy, but felt more confident in the Motoin website and UPS delivery so was happy to pay that bit more. Minus one star because when the suit arrived it still had a security tag attached. Motoin were helpful in suggesting solutions, but in the end I removed the tag myself. An honest mistake, but one that I had to resolve. read more

At first I wasn't too sure on how trustworthy the site was but after receiving my product I was very happy with the services and website. The prices and sales are good, once arrived my product was in sturdy packaging. Reasonably fast delivery (2 weeks to Australia) with tracking. I read some reviews that DHL from Germany may be a problem but had no issues. I would shop here again and recommend Motoin.de to friends. read more

I was in no rush for it at the time so I said I would wait until 15 November for it to be in stock. Still no helmet, nor replies to emails either. Contacted by email in New Year to chase and received helpful response within 24hours. Motoin advised exact date that goods were expected from their supplier and then promised immediate despatch. Had no prblems at all, after odering an x-lite 802 checa rep, which is no longer available in the uk, sevice was good, product arrived well packed and un damaged, would use again if i couldn't get a product in the uk, amazing that such a superb product has no uk impoter, we import plenty of rubbish!
