I would have thought it would have been the same price, but it was not; it was more! But I needed the stain. I returned less than weeks later and asked for the stain again, giving them the can with the formula. I was then told it was even more than what I had paid. After telling them that, they did give me a discount but it was still more. Both times I was not greeted. There is a lot of chit chat going on between the workers.

And, it's being noticed too! Anyway, I needed some paint for a home project. I called ahead, gave them my order, paid by card and drove to the store. They had a note on the door to call and after I did, they brought the can of paint out for me. Three weeks later, I needed some more. I called ahead and they said they were now allowing walk in customers, so I drove there to pick up some more paint. When I entered the store, I was greeted by a young man wielding a disinfectant spray bottle and disinfectant wipes. His job was to clean the door handle every time some one entered the store. I thought that was pretty amazing. All employees in the store were wearing masks and gloves as well. I felt as comfortable as I possibly could, given the current safety restrictions. Anyway, it took them a little time to find my order, but once they did, it was done in a matter of minutes. So if you need some paint, don't get shook up, get to this store and let them do the shaking. You'll be glad you did.

In Farragut, the nearest home improvement / hardware store is about 15 minutes away. Ace is…read morecloser, easier to navigate, and has helpful staff members. You can actually find someone to help you here. Although it's smaller than the big boxes, they have a lot of unique options. The front of the store is like a boutique with artsy home decor items. I think it is supposed to be a feminine section. But, I can see guys enjoying it too -- particularly if you need to buy a gift. Ace is generally very good for small hardware items and more. If you want a single nut and bolt, they can probably help you out. But, they also sell higher quality large items that you cannot at Home Depot. For instance, the Stihl brand power tools and Big Green Egg cooking equipment. They also have higher quality wheelbarrows than Home Depot (at cheaper prices). Overall, Ace is the place if you need to get a few hardware items quickly.

Overall: This is a good choice for quality paint at an economical cost.
