We thought it was related to a tongue and lip tie, which we had released, but that didn't take away the colic. We then called Dr Teri, and she performed craniosacral / myofascia release on him at 8-10 weeks old and it was like witnessing a miracle. I handed her an extremely colicky and tense/tight baby and she handed me back a very relaxed baby who no longer showed any colicky symptoms. I was able to secure an appointment a few days from my original call to the office, they were accommodating to my issue and from my first visit to the office very professional. Dr. Heather Boyd is the newest addition to the care team and extremely welcoming, she listened to my issues, reviewed the materials from a previous doctor I saw for ten years, took some tests. I came back for return visit two weeks later with results of the tests, she throughly explained the options available to me, I decided surgery was the best solution for me. Surgery was scheduled a few weeks later, the associate in the surgery scheduling made me feel comfortable, worked with my insurance and confirmed twice everything was approved. On the day of my surgery at Christ Hospital was seamless, all of the nursing staff were top notch. Dr. Boyd came in to check in me before the surgery and afterwards. The morning after my surgery Dr. Wendel checked in on me making sure I was okay and Dr. Boyd called me 30 minutes later making sure I was recovering well. My post op appointment two weeks later again Dr. Boyd listened to me, made sure I felt comfortable and said don't hesitate to call if you have any questions on your continued recovery. Today I had my six week post op appointment, the office was busy, so had to wait a bit in the exam room. Dr. Boyd apologized for the wait and again answered my questions, completed the exam, everything healed properly and good to go back to work. She again stressed if I have any further questions, please don't hesitate to reach out she's here ensuring I have the best quality care. Amazing to know Mt. Auburn OBGYN truly cares for their patients which is a rarity these days. I'm sure this is a great place but my experience thus far leaves me feeling a bit apprehensive and frustrated. I believe in supporting local and small businesses and I can't believe I live a half a block away and getting in to someone is this difficult. Dr. Shania is excellent and I feel she listens when I'm expressing a concern vs. other chiros who do the same thing every time no matter the problem. She is knowledgeable and great with our kids too. Selah loves the little play area and knowing she's having fun while I get adjusted makes it easy to come to appointments. I can tell when I skip an adjustment with how much back pain I have when I don't go. They also give little gifts when you have a baby and I love the baby board that tracks pregnancies in the office.

Noticing things immediately, encouraging fluids, getting a meal tray, finding an issue with skin integrity and handling it immediately. I can leave mom without massive guilt. And Missie, the social worker. She has been amazing and had gone out of her way to deal with our difficult and demanding family. She recognizes that we all just care about our mom and had gone way out of her way to assist us in finding long term placement for mom. My only wish is that they had a long term bed available for my mom but I certainly get why they don't. This place is amazing!! And I don't want to leave out therapy. They got my mom mobile again through a difficult and painful injury with a side diagnosis of alzheimers/ dementia. She can refuse and be difficult at times but they never let her quit.
