I love exotic flavors and a harmony of spices, so naturally, I'm fond of authentic Indian food.
Not much in the way of ambiance. Staff are friendly, speak English and do what is asked of them.
WE ORDERED:
- Indian bubble (hot) tea was bitter so I diluted it and added lots of sugar. I drank half of it while it was hot, then asked for a glass of ice and made it a cold drink: hey, two drinks for the price of one!
- Naan was thin, tough and chewy; I won't be ordering this next time.
- Chili pakora was too spicy for me (hubby loved it) but it had good flavor and was complimented by the tamarind sauce.
- Fish Biryani had soft rice and good flavor but the battered deep fried fish was not even crispy nor did it taste that fresh.
- Chicken masala was slightly overcooked but sauce was yummy.
Their spice level is higher than other places, so next time I will ask for my food to be made mild. When I'm in the mood for Indian food, I would come back to try other things since I did enjoy the flavor of their food.
FYI: They have washrooms and a separate hand washing station. Free WiFi available. Aircon's weak so I wouldn't recommend going when it's crowded. read more
