It isn't located in the town, but along the main highway leading it, and it is walking distance as well. Don't expect much in the way of beers here, but like a lot of country pubs, the bartender is very friendly, and quite chatty. Yeah, this pub turned out to be pretty cool, but it is a shame that it may not be around for much longer.

We got a chicken Parma, but we didn't care once we tried it. Thick chicken breast ( not a frozen commercial one), excellent crispy chips, fresh salad with tasty dressing. Well plated. Good quality coffee. Clean, tidy environment. Lost a star because we had to ask for sugar and a spoon for coffee. Cutlery and condiments followed after the meal - salt was empty. Staff were pleasant and attentive. We would return for the quality of the food.

In fact, unlike a lot of pubs that I have been to out in the country, this one certainly didn't feel anything like those old mans pubs that you tend to find. In fact it had quite a nice vibe about it. In fact, it even had a pretty awesome beer garden out the back, one that had definitely been made to feel like a decent beer garden as opposed to a lot of the pubs where it is basically just a few tables tossed out in the back yard. Oh, and the service was pretty awesome as well. Yeah, I really liked this pub.
