I arrived in the middle of the night, and in the morning when I opened my window I was greated with an absolutely lovely scene out the back. It was next to the river, with lovely bushland, and an awesome balcony where you could simply sit and relax. In fact, you could spend your entire time here sitting and relaxing. The rooms were pretty good, and the service was top notch. This was definitely a great place to stay.

The pub itself wasn't bad either, though it doesn't open until later in the afternoon, but I suspect that probably has more to do with the nature of country towns. Yeah, as a pub it actually turned out to be pretty cool, and they had a decent beer garden out the back as well. Sure, the beer selection wasn't all that great, but that is something that I have come to expect from country pubs, so I tend not to hold it against them too much.

It isn't located in the town, but along the main highway leading it, and it is walking distance as well. Don't expect much in the way of beers here, but like a lot of country pubs, the bartender is very friendly, and quite chatty. Yeah, this pub turned out to be pretty cool, but it is a shame that it may not be around for much longer.
