It isn't located in the town, but along the main highway leading it, and it is walking distance as well. Don't expect much in the way of beers here, but like a lot of country pubs, the bartender is very friendly, and quite chatty. Yeah, this pub turned out to be pretty cool, but it is a shame that it may not be around for much longer.

Good quality coffee. Clean, tidy environment. Lost a star because we had to ask for sugar and a spoon for coffee. Cutlery and condiments followed after the meal - salt was empty. Staff were pleasant and attentive. We would return for the quality of the food.

In fact, unlike a lot of pubs that I have been to out in the country, this one certainly didn't feel anything like those old mans pubs that you tend to find. In fact it had quite a nice vibe about it. In fact, it even had a pretty awesome beer garden out the back, one that had definitely been made to feel like a decent beer garden as opposed to a lot of the pubs where it is basically just a few tables tossed out in the back yard. Well, this motel was okay, and the rooms were of a decent size, but the wifi was, well, atrocious,…read morewhich is something that does really get to me, especially when I am travelling (though I would unlikely be staying in a motel if I wasn't travelling, so I guess there is that). Anyway, other than that I should commend the staff for letting me check in early, due to the buses sort of, well, arriving early. The rooms were of a decent size as well, though annoyingly, it is a bit of a hike from the main town centre, but I feel that this is actually more a St Arnaud thing than anything else.
