Well, okay, it was also the only pub that happened to…read morebe open when I passed through Donald, so I guess there is also that, but still, the service was great, and the atmosphere really rather relaxing. Then again that probably had a lot to do with the town as well. Another thing was that they also had a lovely beer garden down the side, which not only was quite large, but was also undercover, and had a pool table there as well. Yeah, that was certainly quite cool.

The best thing about this pub was that they had beef schnitzel available on the menu. The pub itself wasn't bad either, though it doesn't open until later in the afternoon, but I suspect that probably has more to do with the nature of country towns. Yeah, as a pub it actually turned out to be pretty cool, and they had a decent beer garden out the back as well. Sure, the beer selection wasn't all that great, but that is something that I have come to expect from country pubs, so I tend not to hold it against them too much.

It isn't located in the town, but along the main highway leading it, and it is walking distance as well. Don't expect much in the way of beers here, but like a lot of country pubs, the bartender is very friendly, and quite chatty. Yeah, this pub turned out to be pretty cool, but it is a shame that it may not be around for much longer.

Anyway, this one is pretty cool, has some really friendly staff, and the beer garden is great. Sure, the beer selection really isn't all that good, but as a pub it is still pretty awesome.
