The smell in the hallways, stairwells, and in the room is a mix of dog pee, human body odor, and curry spice. I had to wash all my clothes, including the ones I didn't wear on my trip, because of the curry smell from the room. The fridge froze all the food and drinks we brought into the space. The front-of-house staff were friendly, but the overall vibe was off, with a few interesting people hanging around outside at various points throughout the day. Overall, it served its purpose, a place to stay, but I'll be exploring other options next time. read more

I've place I've ever stayed in. LOUD, thin walls. I asked to be put in a room where I can sleep during the day bc I work nights, and all I could hear were screaming kids, people put right next to me, they wouldn't change my room after I asked, and the place is filthy. read more

This is the crackhouse of hotels. The lobby smells like animal urine. I witnessed a man attempting to steal a car in the lot right below my window. The door to the laundry room stayed wide open the entire time i was there even though there was a sign on the door that said it must remain closed by order of the fire marshall. The heat in my room was stuck on and it got so hot in there i had to take a cold shower in the middle of the night. Stay away. Far away read more

Because we had no power at home, I stopped in here in the morning and booked two nights stay. I did not thik much of it when they wanted a credit or debit card, as since I used to travel a lot, i know most placed require one to make reservations. However, I have never had any place actually charge the room at that point. Normally the charge does not take place until you check out. When I came back to actually check in at 3:00, I found out they had already charged the room. I consider that to be totally unacceptable. Whe we got to our room on the second floor, it was very hot, and I found the thermostat set to 75 degrees. I reset it to 65, and was going to open the window to cool it off quicker, and found they had installed a block to prevent it from being opened. Isn't that a fire hazard? I think so. Again, very unhappy. Next, went to watch TV, and found out that the on screen guide is fixed to rotate in a timed fashion that takes about 10 minutes to go through the guide. It will not let you manually scroll through it to look for something to watch. That sucks! I do not know if all Motel 6's are like this, but, the lower price here is not worth all this BS. From now on, I will go back to staying at places like Comfort Inn, Courtyard, or Holiday Inn Express. Those are the kind of places I used to stay at when I was on business trips, and maybe I am just spoiled, but I will pay the extra to use them in the future! read more

when I arrived there was 2 police cars and an ambulance and a fire truck there was a fight in one of the rooms they have residents living there in almost all the rooms and they have large dogs barking and whining all night I was there for 2 nights and barely got to get sleep also you could smell dog urine in the elevator and hall ways the workers kept spraying deodorizers in the hall ways and in the lobby. the 3 rd floor smells the worst. I was on the second floor and it was pretty bad. the bed was comfortable and the sheets and blankets are very thin. when I told the workers it was hard to sleep because of all the noise they just said sorry about that and I lef early. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone find a different hotel ps I had to give it a one star because it wouldn't let me leave a review read more

Booked a two queen bed room for 2 nights, before we walked to the room I asked one of the worker at the front desk did they have any past pest problem (Bed Bugs) she told me no so I thought great, 4.5 star ratings this could be great for the price. The first night I didn't see anything everything was great, but the second night I notice a bed bug cover over the bed, a hour went by I went for my phone and seen a giant bed bug crawling across where my feet were pretty nasty on top of that dogs were barking all night!! read more

I was skeptical. I should not have been! This motel is so clean and tidy! The room smelled so fresh and clean that I was blown away! What an awesome place for the price! The staff were all so friendly and kind! I will be back every year! read more

Wouldn't be a Motel 6 without the underwhelming bed experience and hard small pillows. Grungy bathroom conditions and frozen-over freezers. It is what it is, a decent place to crash if you've had too much to drink. No complaints about the staff at this one. read more

I wasn't expecting much and was actually afraid to stay here. The rates are excellent and if you go to Applebee's and tell them you're staying here they will discount your meal. If it doesn't change. The only reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 is the fact that their pool is closed for maintenance. If course, when I arrived, I checked the room for bedbugs and didn't find any. The sheets and towels didn't have stains and they were more white than any hotel/motel sheets I've ever seen in my 68 years. The staff is very friendly and they are a pet friendly hotel/motel. read more

The facility was adequate, but the staff was really fantastic-the night staff in particular was very friendly and super helpful!

We decided to give Motel 6 a try on 8/11/18, since they've pitched how great a stay with them would be. And we were only passing through for one night before going onward with our vacation. Plus we were tired and just wanted to clean up and go to sleep. Well, it was the worst experience ever! I don't know where to begin, so I'll jump right in. The staff did not wear uniforms or name tags so you couldn't tell who worked there. The check in wasn't friendly. She had the nerve to lecture me about the pet and smoking policy. What about the policy to provide quality conditions to a paying customer? They weren't around when it came time to check out either. I had to wait a good ten or fifteen minutes for her to show up. No bell or anything on the front desk to alert that people are waiting. Now for the room. It had an odd smell. I couldn't determine if it was a pet odor or just an odor from whatever off-brand cleaning products used. Next, the bedspread was disgusting with the stains on it. The sheets were wrinkled, the pillows were flat and old. The bathroom only had two towels. Oh boy, let's talk about those. The towels were not standard bath towels. They were hard and scratchy. We had to use our own towels. Thank goodness I always bring towels from home. The face towels were gross! Has the laundry room ever heard of BLEACH! If it doesn't come clean, then toss it for heaven's sake. The outdated air conditioner was loud and could only be turned on or off because the knobs were broken. By the floors being wood, there was foot traffic over our head all night from the guests above us. I should have took heed and walked out the door, when a suspicious couple was checking out after only being there for an hour. The woman is saying all this stuff for me to hear since I'm standing behind her. I didn't need to be a detective to know what the deal was with the couple. The clerk also knew what was up when the woman tried to get a refund for the barely used room. I can only assume this spot is used for such activity a lot. So, Motel 6, please don't leave the light on anymore. Shut it off and lock the dang doors to this dump. read more

Decent. I get it was a good price but this came with several expenses. Was there 3 nights. No service to the room. Towels not changed, bed not made, trash cans not emptied. No courtesy shampoo. Towels at the pool had dubious stains on them. Towels in the room were so thin in the middle that more than one tore. Carafe labled "coffee" was always on the front desk counter but no cup in sight so unable to determine whether there was anything in it. Front desk people were nice. read more

Booked a room, that supposedly had microwave, fridge, iron on price I paid. When I got to my room, none of it was there, was told I would have to pay extra. The alarm clock must've been stolen previously, because we didn't even have that. Towels were thin, and you had to leave you had to leave your room and go to front desk to get more if you wanted to. The lady that checked us in, was rude! The toilet made noise, AC was loud, no toiletries. We had to rush to Walmart to buy soap! I tried arguing the price they charged me, for room and commodities I paid for(but weren't there), no luck. read more

So we needed to stop for the night and we saw a pretty decent priced Motel 6. I couldn't expect much from a motel 6 but it is what it is. When I pulled up to the building the appearance was nice outside, but don't let that fool you. I walked into my room and it looked like they tried to make it more comfortable by putting in laminate flooring. After doing the typical hotel room walk around to make sure everything is on the up and up, I found the toilet hadn't been cleaned from the previous occupant who must have had tacos the night before (fucking gross) and they must have been hairy cause their pubic/ass hair was on the seat. We're not done with the toilet yet though, we tried sleeping and the toilet kept running because of poor maintenance. So housekeeping, and maintenance are two main components to keep a hotel running properly and they lack these two necessities. I don't recommend staying here, I would keep driving further and pay the extra few bucks. read more

Motel 6 - The grounds are kept nice NOTTTT - Hotels Near Me - Streetsboro, Ohio

We had a breakdown and our car was towed into a garage in Streetsboro. The garage wasn't open and we had to find a place to stay for the night. Motel 6 to the rescue right!? What followed was a highly educational night for our young daughter as she overheard all kinds of depravity, cultivating in the police banging on first our door then our neighbors to locate the victim of a drug overdose who had to be rushed to the hospital. I might give Motel 6 a break on this except we discovered the next morning that our key card lock wasn't working. All that stood between my family and an episode of Breaking Bad was the door chain! Thanks Motel 6 for a great evening! read more

We stayed here six months ago it was extremely nice... Checked in on December 31, 2016 the curtains are hanging down the heater is broken we had to have a little portable brought in the bedding smells like the sheets were not changed smoke fills the hallways in a non-smoking hotel. There is no hotel manager you can get a hold of. In the elevator was broken so you had to drag all your luggage upstairs read more

Booked a 3 night stay for a work assignment, but left after one night. The dirtiest hotel I've ever been in. Woke up with a rash and did not feel safe. Air conditioner was duct taped. Questionable substance all over desk. Will never say at Motel 6 again after years of loyalty. read more

I enjoyed my stay at this motel. It was a good price and adequate for my stay. The bed was soft and the pillows comfortable.
