My moms birthday is two days after Valentine's Day, every year my dad would send her flowers. This year now that he's not here I wanted to send my mom flowers. I placed the order on the website and called in to confirm my order. The woman on the phone told me she hadn't seen it yet. I checked my email following our conversation and my order had been cancelled. No explanation, no call, one day before my moms birthday. They did fully refund me which I do appreciate, but cancelling a customers order without talking to them about it is very unprofessional. read more

I don't normally write negative reviews, but I'm really disappointed in what I ordered vs what was delivered from this company. I ordered a beautiful succulent arrangement for my friend's birthday. What was delivered was a small sad version. I called the company and she told me that it wasn't her fault and the pot she planted in was the only one she had yesterday. And that if taken care of the plants will grow bigger. I told her that I didn't feel like this was a $70 gift (before tax and delivery) and she said "it has several plants in it". EPIC FAIL. Look at the difference of what I ordered and what my mother got. I called the owner and she argued that that's the only flowers she got in. I told her I wanted it to be made right - she said she'd do it again, but it would look the same. THEN, I asked her if she did Yelp or any other social media and her mark was "I don't have time for that nonsense". Guess what? SHE DOES have outlets for me to show her work and reveal her attitude about making things right. She gave me the excuses: 1) they threw away the photo of the flowers and she can't put it together again 2) Ecuador - they are just not getting the flowers they should anymore from them 3) There are no carnations today - she's going to have to cancel orders 4) Well, your mother thought they were beautiful, isn't that all that counts? This company is HORRIBLE! If I could give 0 stars I would. I live out of state so I asked for a picture of the arrangement I ordered to be texted to me. It was for my aunt's funeral. I was told the might not be possible or it could be a group picture of all the arrangements and I could try and figure out which one I was my order because they're so busy! What?!?! The service was yesterday and I did nothing get a picture: I am furious! DO NOT use this florist! I ordered flowers for a funeral. I was incredibly disappointed when arriving at the funeral and seeing what had been delivered. Many of the Lilies hadn't bloomed yet and there was a scarce amount of roses & carnations. Very small and sad looking. It definitely was nothing like what I had ordered and paid a good amount for. I believe in giving business to small business's but was incredibly let down and embarrassed by the product that was produced. I called Kelly at Mossholder's Floral to let her know that I was unhappy with the flowers and she couldn't have been more rude. She said "I beg to differ...I bet in a week they'll look great". The service was that day ... not in a week. I said as a business owner I would apologize and ask what I could do to make the situation better. I got "I said I was sorry" from Kelly and more words of how I was wrong. I wasn't asking for my money back ... just wanted her to know that the product that was delivered was not good. VERY discouraging and recommend you find a better florist who actually cares about what they deliver. read more

This place was great for finding flowers for my wedding. The florist heard what I wanted then showed me what would look better and it was a perfect mix of my vision and practicality. I enjoyed the art on the wall of the small shop and I know it is a flower shop but it smelled great! She seems to have experience and an artistic touch. We enjoyed the experience so much one week later we ordered a large assortment for a funeral and it was the best looking one there. The fullness and care each flower has with placement and freshness was wonderful. We will be back not just for my wedding final call but for most future orders. read more

I live in Hawaii and ordered flowers on their website for my mom to have for Mother's Day this year in Colorado and it was a TERRIBLE experience...they ended up delivering the flowers really late in the afternoon and when they arrived didn't call my moms phone number or mine like they should have to say they were there or double-check to see if she was at home...then they ended up just leaving my moms flowers that had a necklace with it at some random neighbors house 5 houses down whom they don't even know. Furthermore, when I had called to check on the delivery that evening because I hadn't heard anything from my mom yet, the lady who answered the phone was quite short with me and made like I was inconveniencing her by calling when all I was trying to do is follow up on what happened with my order. Finally, the next morning my parents neighbors were nice enough to deliver the flowers to her BUT when she got them, they barely had any water, the lilies were droopy and the roses were practically already past blooming....pretty much a careless arrangement of old flowers that I paid good money for. ALSO, my mom went out of her way to call them about her concerns regarding the delivery and the state of the flowers and the gentleman she talked to on the phone was very rude and wasn't apologetic at all about the inconvenience nor the unacceptable state of the flowers in the arrangement. In fact, he went on to tell my mother, "do you know what weekend it is???"....as if to say that they're too busy to be concerned about our order and we just have to deal with it. I'm sorry, BUT that's not what I payed for or what I would expect from a professional florist: TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, MEDIOCRE FLOWERS, & IRRESPONSIBLE DELIVERY SERVICES to say the least.....NOT IMPRESSED, will not use this florist again. read more

I completely overlooked getting an arrangement for a cremation service and I called the morning of the service. Unfortunately at the time, they were unable to help due to the current number of orders they had to complete. I'd give them a 0 if I could. DO NOT BUY from this floral shop. Ordered arrangement for my wife in a pitcher vase. What came was a standard cheap vase and half-dead flowers. Called to ask about mix up and was told that they didn't have vases in stock and that I should've put something in special instructions about no vase substitutions. Received a call from the florist saying that they had a delivery for me but they wanted to wait until tomorrow because it had gotten late and they didn't want to deliver in the dark. Well, I felt that since they got the order yesterday, that it should be delivered as scheduled. I always appreciated the level of service and speediness in getting our order taken care of, but I never got to personally see how good the flowers are. That was until by husband bought a bouquet of roses from Mossholder's for my birthday. They were gorgeous!! - simply the most perfect roses I have ever seen. I called and called and never heard back from them for 4 days and when they finally called back all I got was excuses. The "best they could do" was bring her the order almost a week after the fact or credit my account. The florist does great flowers for funerals and if you have it delivered in Arvada for a $13.00 delivery fee but wont deliver to Good Sam in Lafayette. And then calls you the day of with excuses up the ying yang about why they wont be delivered the day as promised on the website. She told me she is computer illiterate and pays Telaflora a lot of money to run her website. Way to much to deal with and too much information. I wont be using this company again. read more

Very disappointed. The flowers I ordered online for my mother-in-law look nothing like the arrangement that was delivered. It wasn't even the vase pictured. The bouquet was much smaller than pictured as well. I even read the reviews prior to placing my order but still gave them the benefit of the doubt. Lesson learned. read more

Terribly disappointed. I called and spoke to the Owner about a delivery for my sister's 40th birthday and I was really excited about seeing what she was going to put together - we discussed it being bright and full. Well, my sister sent me a picture of the arrangement that afternoon, and the arrangement was a complete afterthought. I had her send me multiple pictures and I have to say, for $45 plus a $13 delivery fee I expected to see an actual arrangement; I have seen less chaotic arrangements from the grocery store. The arrangement consisted of one peach colored rose, one purple tulip, two red carnations, two cheap lilies, and then a TON of extra greenery and very inexpensive filler flowers that didn't make sense. On the website, the arrangements are bright and full and well composed, I feel like my sister's arrangement was a complete afterthought. She was excited to receive flowers in general, and for that, I was thankful but I will never use Mossholder's again. I even sent the owner an email that afternoon to see if she wanted to try and rectify the situation but she never responded. read more

Very rude people who do not even take a baby step much less go the extra mile for their customers. When I called to rectify a missed delivery I was immediately barraged with multiple excuses and denials before i even had the chance to speak. I asked to cancel the order since the birthday (40th) was the prior day and the mananger asked "why are you being so crabby"?
