My old doctor told me exactly what was wrong with my Pupil. I decided to test her knowledge and ask her the same thing - she said she didn't know and that it might be hereditary. No, it's not hereditary at all. I can't believe that's the only answer she gave me. Here's the topper.. On Monday, I booked the appointment for Friday afternoon. It was quarter mile down the road from my job. I get off work at 5, so I figured 530 would be perfect, which is when we booked the appointment for. Thursday, I get a phone call asking if I could move my appointment to 6:00. Annoyed - I took it anyway because I really wanted this appointment. For that hour wait, I decided I could go grocery shopping across the street in the mean time. Friday afternoon at 2:00, they called me and asked me if I could come in at 6:30 instead. Now, I'm mad. They told me that the doctor wouldn't be in the office until then. I decided to keep it anyway. So now, I'm waiting in my parking lot for an hour and half. Until I finally drive over there, and wait another 20 minutes because the doctor was running late. I didn't think she was friendly. She threw her purse and other items she ran in with into the room scattered all over the chair. So unprofessional. She then told me why she was late and that she had to get pictures with her son for Prom, so she had to drive to Nassau all the way back to Suffolk County. Are you serious? So she knew about his Prom a very long time ago, but decides to not take the night off and instead piss people off? That's what I call a good office. NOT. Never again will I come back here.

BUYER BEWARE! ! ! !…read more Vista Eyeglasses Repair is completely untrustworthy and unprofessional. In addition to selling eyewear to the public, Juan also sells so-called "refurbished" equipment -- but what he sold me was nothing more than a lemon. I purchased an edger and from day one it has been a disaster. I've tried my hardest to work with him to resolve the problems, but enough is enough -- I can't keep wasting my time, money, and being constantly played like a fool. I've had the machine for months and was only able to use it a handful of times because of constant issues. He has zero accountability, takes no responsibility, and communicates horribly. Instead of fixing the issue or issuing a refund, he left me stuck with defective equipment that malfunctions repeatedly, costing me thousands in setup, expensive lens reorders, additional costs at another lab to cut lenses, and lost time. He clearly does not stand behind what he sells. And if this is how he handles equipment, I can only imagine the shortcuts, corner-cutting, and poor quality when it comes to your prescription eyeglasses and lenses. If you value your business, your patients, and your vision, avoid Vista Eyewear Repair at all costs.
