For those who've never done it, power washing is back breaking labour, even more so when the area that needs it hasn't been taken care of in a long time. If I had to write this review one year ago, I would have had nothing but good things to say about D & D Exteriors. While considerably more expensive than similar businesses, the job they did was acceptable and the team pleasant and efficient. When reaching out to them as a repeat customer approximately six months after they cleaned our gutters to discuss a concern, the owner responded extremely unprofessionally, accusing me of being unreasonable and unqualified in assessing the quality of the work they performed. Instead of taking a professional approach and suggesting to have a quick look to determine whether something was overlooked, a relatively minor issue escalated. A subsequent investigation revealed a blockage at the entrance of the downspout had caused the gutter not to drain properly and once again to overflow. Furthermore, a previously installed screen on the downspout had not been re-installed after cleaning and was found lying in the gutter upstream of the drain, thus allowing debris to block the downspout. I only became aware of this during the recent heavy rains. Had the owner of D & D been truly professional, he would have at least offered to investigate to determine whether something had been missed. However, based on this unpleasant experience, I cannot recommend this business.
