A friend of mine recommended Moseley Travel to me a few years ago, I tried them once and was so impressed that it has become my go to travel shop! A gem of a shop in the village and I still use them even after moving out of Moseley. Sometimes if I can't get into the shop, I'll send a quick email and they'll look at my requirements without me needing to be there. Lianne and Sylvia have worked there for years. The level of service, knowledge and experience is exceptional. You can tell that these guys have a real passion for what they do. I've used them for all kinds of travel inc. a simple New York flight, a complex Australia package, a cheap and cheerful holiday in Greece and most recently a surprise trip to Venice for my sister. They take care of everything and offer the full holiday booking experience. They make sure that you have travel insurance, give visa and travel document advice and can even book special extras like our gondola trip in Venice and made sure that the hotel knew that it was my sister's birthday during our stay. It is the attention to detail that sets them apart in my opinion. They have ABTA and ATOL licences and I trust them with all of my travel arrangements. They really look after you. The only one small criticism I had was that the shop front was starting to look a bit tired, but last time I went past, I noticed that it had been painted and now looks very smart. A good old fashioned travel agency. Always thought I'd save money on the internet booking myself, but happy to say I was wrong. I was pleseantly surprised because I remember growing up that visiting the travel agents and getting excited about the whole trip with brochures and recommendations is all part of the holiday experience. Don't get me wrong, I do think you should choose your travel agents wisely. I checked the website for these guys first and they had all the licensing and bondings I wanted to see which meant my money was protected. I also am impressed that they've been going for 25 years or something like that. The staff are SO friendly and knowledgeable about so many places. They even arranged all the little details too, like car hire, transfers and my airport parking. They did everything and guess what.... I SAVED LOADS OF MONEY!!!! Really impressed with Moseley Travel. They are really nice and actually do everything. I thought they only did package holidays and not much else, but they do flights, hotels, car hire just everything. They put it all together for you and you just book and pay. I was so impressed. I think the thing that got me the most was the price. I honestly thought that the internet would be cheaper and spent hours on Skyscanner and all the hundreds of hotel websites etc. But left Moseley Travel to find it all instead and actually saved more with them than the internet. Couldn't believe it! Got my insurance there too! Also didn't have to have the worry of something going wrong with all the different website companies, as Moseley Travel have all the licenses. I was getting frustrated looking on line for holiday to VEGAS. I decided to try Moseley Travel and see if i get some clarity and advice and maybe still book cheaper online (very naughty ...I know!!!) It turned out that the girl that served me had recently been to Vegas and was able to give me some really good advice. More importantly when we priced up the whole holiday - it was cheaper than going on line. I was really glad to book with them because I always worry about internet companies going bust while you're on holiday., and apparently this company have been around for 20 years and are fully bonded We had a great time (how can you not).
