Expect to wait…read morein the office for him for no less than 30 minutes, but usually closer to a full hour if not more. The staff won't tell you he is running behind. It got to the point where I would buy snacks and watch a movie on my iphone while waiting. He doesn't give any difinitive answers and seems to just want to write a prescription to get you on your way. He was switching me to a new medication and didn't ween me off of the old one but rather just had me stop it. I had horrible side effects from this and everywhere I read, that medicine is supposed to be slowly decreased. I believe he has far too many patients to be efficient or effective.

Honestly the best dr I've ever had- I read the other reviews and I'm a little confused as to how…read moreanyone could have a "bad" experience with this dr let alone the practice- this was my first time in, I just moved from Ny and needed to find a new pcp as soon as possible because of a medication I'm taking, I was told if I couldn't get an appointment with a doctor by the time my medicine ran out I could go to an urgent care and have it filled, knowing how hard it is to be a new patient and to be seen at a practice takes usually a very long time, but I called on a whim and told the receptionist my issue she got me in the next day, I was very welcomed by the staff they greeted me with kindness and were very caring- Dr.Lebowitz came in shortly after the nurse took my blood pressure and weight and was very attentive in listening to what I had to say, for the first time in 27 years of seeing drs and specialists for my life long illness he is the ONLY one who took the time to actually listen to me not write me off, show concern and treated me like a family member he cared about not just someone he's never met ( which essentially I was, just some random person he's never met) although my prognosis' haven't been great, the feeling I had leaving that office was the best I've had in a very long time. I actually feel like I'm going to get some answers and not just a number to this office. My family is thankful for hearing the slightest sound of "Pep" in my voice as I told them how my appointment went. Thank you dr and staff! As a side note, this practice calls specialists and has the specialist call you with appointments they have available- which to me and my memory loss, is a god send. Thank you again so much, I hope my next appointment is the same!!!

Then when I arrived it said to sign in (no sign in sheet) I asked for the sheet & was told, very rudely mind you, to sit down until called. Now she doesn't have my name, so how is she gonna call me hmmm? When I got up to check with her she again said "sit down and I will be right with you"-add major attitude to that! I'd spent a lot of…read moretime vetting and choosing a pediatrician when I was pregnant, and I soon regretted my decision. When I finally was able to get myself to a La Leche meeting, every woman there had had the same experience with that practice -- and every one of them recommended Dr. Bartfeld. When I walked into his office, the first thing he said to me was, "How are you?" I responded with the laundry list of concerns the previous doctor had raised, and in his quiet, understanding way, he gently interrupted me to say, "Thank you. I was actually wondering, how are YOU doing?" It was the first time anyone had asked me that question in weeks (maybe months). He has proven to be a soft-spoken listener who always makes my girls feel safe, comfortable and supported. Appointments are easy to make, and they hold spots open in the morning for sick kids if you need something last-minute. Communication through the portal is very easy and available immediately. Nearly everyone in the office is extremely helpful, professional, and attentive (one woman at the front desk has a really bad attitude, but I'm hoping she retires soon!). My oldest is turning 15 soon, and I'm grateful for every single day Dr. Bartfeld has been in our lives. I cannot recommend him or his practice highly enough.
