We just had our engagement session with Josh and Alice. They have been friends of my fiance for a few years now, and I am glad to say that now they are my friends too. Alice and her team at Mosca are absolutely incredible. My husband and I cannot say enough positive things about the experience of working with her on our wedding day and for our engagement shoot. Alice and Josh were absolutely fantastic in every way. I almost opted to not hire a photographer for my wedding before I found them. Aside from the marriage itself, using Mosca might have been the best decision I made! For starters, they are VERY reasonably priced. They quickly responded to all of my questions and were so pleasant and flexible to work with! Alice and Josh also have a great sense for what people want from their photos. Being the poorly organized person that I am, I didn't have time to give them any direction at all before my wedding, but they were so on top of things and all of the photos turned out exactly how I wanted them. Finally, they are so good at what they do. I still cannot figure out how they got so many wonderful shots from all sorts of angles and places. They must have been running all night. And I hardly even noticed they were there! They were also good at gently pulling me aside for the requisite family and couple shots. We didn't receive our promised flash drive with which you can print off your own photos, until 4 months after our wedding date. There was no communication in regards to when we would be receiving all of our wedding photos after the wedding, I had to inquire myself. I believe a business should be the one reaching out to you to provide updates. We had already paid for our wedding photo package, so this lead me to feel as though we were not prioritized amongst their many other projects. The excuse given was that the holidays were a very busy time, which I understood and gave them some leeway. However, I had to be the one to keep inquiring on the status, which I don't believe is very customer service-oriented. When I finally expressed my feelings regarding this, I was told that the flash drive was damaged, elsewise it would've been sent to us sooner. Nowhere in our previous email exchanges had there been mention of a damaged flash drive, which I pointed out to them. I have not heard back from them and it has been one week. The important thing is that we received the flash drive. I understand that a company has x number of other things going on, and as much as I loved the quality of the photos, the customer service part was not there. I am not going to tell anyone how to run their business. However, I think if you are going to run a business, you should be giving 100% to your clients, and on time. Not accepting multiple projects you cannot handle where you do not meet deadlines. Sad to say, my husband wanted to use Mosca again in the future for other photographs. But I don't think this will be happening because I don't want to have to pay for something and not know when the product will actually be delivered. read more

My husband and I got married last summer (July 2009) and, after spending months looking for creative, interesting photographers whose services were within our budget, we had almost given up.
