My wife and I used Jenny for family photos of us and our three daughters. I know Jenny from work,…read morebut hadn't used her for her photography skills. We are certainly happy we did. Jenny arrived on time and since is was an hour session she got right to work. We discussed what we wanted, some b&w pics along with color. Some inside the house, some outside. Some with mom, some with dad, some just the kids. She was happy to accomodate. Working with young kids can be difficult, but Jenny put them at ease with her personality and made them feel comfortable about the camera. She understands that holding a big black object in front of a child can be scary. During the picture session we had staged photos and Jenny kept taking candid shots that we ended up using. She never stops working while there. The profs were provided in a timely manner and the developed pictures turned out great. We even got a freebie because she wasn't happy with how the color of the print turned out. Since then I have used Jenny for work in my business as well. We are happy with the service and quality of finished product. Nice Job!

She made the entire experience comfortable and even included our dog in a few shots. She was easy to work with and I loved how all of the pictures turned out. It was so hard to choose our favorites! The prices of the pictures were kind of high (but maybe comparable to other Portland photographers?), but Melissa had a number of different "specials" that we took advantage of to cut down on the cost. I've seen a variety of photographs that Melissa has taken, but my favorites by far are the pictures she captures of kids. She is amazing!
