With this in mind, we further decided to power these heat pumps using solar energy. Revision Energy was recommended to us by two of our friends and we were so glad! We met first with Rob Ellis who reviewed the process and begin completing the paper work. Yes, we both were pretty surprised at the inital cost, however swallowed the cost a bit better when we learned that the government provided a Solar Energy incentive of 30% this year. Alison was the office manager who worked with us through email keeping us updated with everything we needed to do to maintain our installation date. We were given a call a month earlier than our original install date and asked if they could do the installation earlier and we were elated. We wanted to take advantage of those bright September sun. The installation took a bit more than the two day estimate do to the late arrival of the actual solar panels. Now that we are up and running we get real excited when we check our solar energy app to see how much energy we have collected. It was even better when we received our first CMP bill and only had to pay the minumin $12.46 delivery charge. My wife and I, with no reservation, would highly recommend Revision Energy if you are interested in Solar Energy. Please let them know that we recommended you as they have a $250 referral incentive. program.

After careful review of several roof solar installers I highly recommend Solar Power New England…read morewith CEO Andrew Robitaille. Here are the reasons: Equipment: Solar Panels: Among the most efficient available rated at 430 watts per panel. The panels are made in the US ..NOT CHINA. Each panel is equipped to individual inverters so that partial shading has a minimal effect. The panels are Solfab SIL-430-QD. Inverters: As mentioned each panel as an individual inverter that changes to voltage to household voltage and automatically continually adjust to a maximum power output depending on sun output. These are Enphase IQ8 inverters and considered the best in the industry. Warranty: 30 years! So after Andy graduated from Northeastern he became involved in solar and was hired to design and sell the products. Wanting to know the entire business he shifted to actually installing on roofs. After numerous years working in all aspects of the business he went out on his own. I cannot say enough about the installation. Andy is a perfectionist and is extremely meticulous making sure that all panels are extremely secure and exactly centered and square on the roof. He is also very personable and will happily answer any question and in the rare event there is a problem with the system he will probably know it before the owner does, as he continuously monitors all of his installations for proper functioning. If you are considering solar panels on your roof, I highly recommend Solar Power New England. You will not be disappointed. You can count on the best products and the best workmanship. Bottom line, this business is a class act.

I am writing this review to warn others about the problems that I have had with Nathan…read morePreisendorfer and 7th Gen. Solar If you don't have time to read my full review, then know this. I have a huge piece of property with plenty of open fields bathed in sunlight, yet somehow 7th Gen. managed to put my "22KW" ground mount system in the shade, when I questioned the owner, Nathan Preisendorfer about this he attempted to blame that mistake on me. In addition, the two arrays are too close together causing the one in front to throw its shadow on the one in the back further compromising its production. I did everything I could to resolve this issue with him, but he refused to deal with it in good faith. As a result, I had to hire both an attorney to represent me as well as an independent solar specialist to do a complete assessment of my system. The solar specialist uncovered several mistakes with this system as well as work that was done outside of industry standards. To assist in his assessment, I turned over several documents from 7th Gen. for review. One of the first things that he pointed out is that my original proposal contained a ROI/ROR spreadsheet that showed how long it would take to pay the system off. This ROI/ROR is a key piece of information that assists the purchaser in deciding if the system makes financial sense. It tells the purchaser how much electricity the system will produce over its lifetime so that you can compare it against current electricity rates and determine how long it will take to pay the system off. This ROI/ROR that was given by 7th Gen lists my proposed system at 22,600 KW. The solar specialists that I hired immediately saw that the system was only 18,720 KW, a difference of 3,900 KW. That is a huge difference in production and looking at those numbers I would not have gone forward with this system. To date, I have not been given an adequate explanation for this discrepancy. To summarize this shortened section of the review, my system has been compromised because it was placed in a shaded area, it was further compromised because the two arrays were placed too close together and to add to all of this, I was told by 7th Gen. that my proposed system was 22,600 KW when it was only 18,720 KW Lastly, I have had to hire an attorney to represent me in this matter and am now looking at an expensive and protracted legal battle to rectify this situation, and that is in addition to the cost incurred from hiring the independent solar specialist. That is the gist of my situation, if you want further details, please continue to read this review. My contact information is listed at the bottom if you wish to contact me. **Unfortunately I was unable to include the full review due to space constraints** I stand by everything I wrote and will swear to it all under oath. If you have any questions, want to discuss this further, want to know the name of my new Solar provider, want to see the report he did for me on the work that 7th Gen. did, have a story of your own you want to share, want to consider a class action lawsuit, know the contact information of the electrician who laid out my system or so forth please feel free to contact me at 603-562-9792 or jyann0111@yahoo.com John Yannacci.

As the article highlights, many consumers are having a problem getting repair support for their installed solar systems. I had a significant problem with my solar system a couple months ago. One of my two inverters had to be replaced. Seventh Generation Solar responded quickly and evaluated the problem. System was repaired successfully. Even though they had other on-going solar projects, I felt they were listening and treated my solar problem with priority. They had my back. This is what separates the good companies from the bad. Use Seventh Generation Solar --- You won't be sorry. Mike in Hebron
