They went over the loan details and all other documents we needed to get the loan approved by the underwriting team. We sent all the requested documents and waited for further instructions. After the inspection and appraisal, Ray and Scott sent all our paperwork to the underwriting team for review and final approval. Our loan was approved with a few conditions (clarification about some places we have lived and statements about new credit cards we opened). The conditions were met and within 3 days, we were cleared to close. Just like that, we were approved and cleared to close!!! The process was smooth and easy. Ray and the Summit Mortgage Team were EXCELLENT when it came to my husband and I buying our first home. We were referred by some friends who had recently used them to purchase their first home so we decided to schedule a meet and greet with Ray. Ray was, and is the most informative person we have ever met! He will be your personal lending Sherpa for the next few months while you try to find a house in this CO market. If you need some life coaching after losing that 4th offer to an out of state cash buyer, he can probably give you that, too. Also, the realtors will also be thrilled to be working with this team.
