If you seek to be abused, go for Guild Mortgage…read more The horrid thing about mortgage companies is that they know they are abusing some people but they won't do a thing to clean up their industry. It's sad to see how awful some companies can be to Veterans but to have a mortgage company not report a realtor who aren't doing their jobs and stopping all forward motion in any transaction, is really strange. After buying two homes, one in Georgia and one in Washington State, I am looking for a lender who isn't abusive, blind or skirting laws. Your reputation is great for two or three reviews, but you need to know that your industry and your business, as well as others in Washington State are as abusive as any used car swindler or real estate abuser.

My first interaction with Vance, was, after all my research and deciding I liked his ethics and what I had read and heard, him telling me politely he couldn't help me the next three days because he promised his son a camping trip. As frustrating as that was because we were trying to get an approval letter by a certain time, the moment Vance had time he worked faster than anyone and with better quality. I worked or inquired with 5 or 6 other lenders or brokers and they all seemed like used car salesman trying to funnel me towards less than ideal deals or not disclose or explain everything. Vance was completely different, he answered every question honestly, and never tried to leave things out our leave me uninformed. Vance made it a point to share any and all information he could and go out of his way to find answers if they weren't readily available. The most important part about Vance and his wife Yvette is, they made us feel like family and got us such a great deal I'd never work with anyone else in this realm of things. From my experience Vance is someone who can solve any problem in the process, do so very promptly and thoroughly, answer the questions that make you informed and confident, and just outright smoke the competition. Thank you so much Vance and Yvette, me and my wife thank you dearly.

Being a very busy person, I could not thank her enough for the constant updates and fantastic communication through out the home buying process. I worked with Valinda Horstman who was an absolute professional and very knowledgeable. Valinda was spot on with her estimate of the home price recommendation and I did receive offers for over the asking price. Our house was on the market for 2 days and we accepted an offer that closed in less than a month. I reached out to Valinda in May as I was interested in buying a quaint, refurbished Craftsman in S. Tacoma. Valinda's specialty is selling homes, so she introduced us to Olga Petrenko whose specialty was buying homes. Toril Sells Houses works as a team, like a task force so they have depth in resources. This approach allows quick responses and actions. They never miss any calls, always quick to respond to emails, texts, or phone calls. Olga showed us many homes and the one home we really wanted had multiple buyers that did pre-inspections and gave offers well over the asking price. Olga helped us with our strategy, and out of the 7 bids, we won and just closed on June 12, 2020. I will definitely do business again with Toril Sells Houses team and hope to continue my real estate buying/selling experience with Valinda, and Olga.

Joe came recommended from a close work friend of mine and I am so incredibly happy I went with her recommendation and didn't waste time trying to follow any other leads. Joe is incredibly knowledgeable and ensured our comfort throughout the whole process. He explained everything, checked in frequently, and didn't mind that we dragged him all over the corners of Lacey and Olympia as we exhausted every type of home we could think of (well over what google says is the average number of homes people see before committing - thanks for your patience Joe). I felt he represented us well during the closing; he negotiated money back after the inspection and it was approved, he thought of everything. If I could do it all over again, I'd pick Joe and his team again. Shoutout to Charlie Carr as well for his critical role as well. Closing was a breeze - something like in just 17 days with his preferred lender (Eric Lake) who we would also hands down work with again. Overall, I can't recommend enough.

I cannot say enough good things about Alley Savin. I was introduced to Alley through a network of…read morereal estate and mortgage professionals because I was moving to the Olympia, Washington area from San Jose, California and I did not know anyone in the city. In retrospect, Alley was fantastic right from the first meeting when I revealed to her that my family and I were going to move without any friends or family in town. She asked so many great questions to make sure that when my family and I were travelling to look at new homes that our time would not be wasted. We were all impressed with her knowledge of Thurston County and her ability to educate us on all of our new options. Her communication style is great, she exhibits a high attention to detail in her answers and follow up questions. We had been planning our move for 6 months and when our house was in contract the coronovirus hit and things went crazy. Alley was very calm and reassuring through that stressful time. We needed a house within the limitations of our escrow and we literally found the perfect home. Sight unseen we put in an offer and with her help and experience the process went very smoothly from good faith deposit to key exchange. I write this from my new Olympia home and my family and I could not be happier with the experience that Alley provided. I still believe if I have any questions about the area I can contact her and she would send me one of her patented friendly answers. Thank you, Alley!
