Space number of the space not to take

What ever you do, do not accept space 15 it shouldn't even be a spot to park you trailer or rv we were very unhappy with this spot and spoke to the staff they basically told us take it or leave it and we decided to stay and we moved things around so we can have more space to work with and they told us again you had the option to take it or leave it.

We selected 5 starts because LOCATION! This park is a short block walk to the stunning Morro Bay beach, and an easy walk to the Morro Rock and the embarcedero shops, restaurants, etc. The owners were friendly and the laundry room was convenient. The sunsets were magnificent. The price was reasonable. The sites are tightly spaced so you don't have a lot of "yard space" and there is an industrial park next door which meant the view wasn't great, but it was quiet, comfortable and location, location, location!

If I come to Morro Bay this is the only park I will stay at there are others to choose from that this one is very down home and friendly the people that work at the desk are super awesome and nice it is very well-kept and clean a hidden gem

Take site 1 if you can, you only have one close neighbor, you have nice ocean view, you're closer to the beach, easy in n out. The sites are all close to each other, there are sites in the middle of the parking lot, if you go further into the campground, it becomes super crowded and loud. Lots of people just trying to escape the city for a few days. Not the campground I would stay at unless it's just for one night, and that's what it was for us. All the sites have fire pits, close by bathrooms, I didn't see showers. Bathrooms can be cleaner, you have running water, you're practically on the beach, you have a nice view of Morro Rock...but if you turn around you also have a view of homes and Highway 1, hmmm... The Real Foodie gone campin'

Oh my God! Worst RV park I've EVER stayed at, and I spend my summers traveling so I've stayed in ALOT of RV parks. Whatever you do...DO NOT STAY IN LOT 2! Super small spaces, no fire rings, no grass anywhere, and this particular lot is packed with full-time "residents," complete with broken down cars on blocks, pit-bulls, and the ever present stench of marijuana smoke. Yes, I realize this is Kalifornia, but I don't want to go on vacation and smell weed smoke the entire time. Every other RV park in town was full, so I was stuck here. The spaces are seriously so small I couldn't even put my awning out. That's a small space! Never again!! Lot 1 across the street looked much better, but it was also full, so we were SOL. So in summary, if you're looking at this RV park for your trip, DO NOT STAY IN LOT 2. No joke.... I do however have to add that it appears the management tries hard to keep this lot clean. It's obvious they spend alot of time maintaining it, which I give them credit for. That being said...if they took out half the spaces and made the remaining ones even halfway comfortable and got rid of the mopes who ruin it for everyone else, this would be a much better place. MUCH better... I will not return to this RV park...

Sites are large, just no shade and two windy for an awning last few days.

Great location, especially with a bicycle. Front desk gal was very nice and a friend's problem with power was taken care of ASAP.

As a person who's not into camping at all, I can sort of get behind this type of "glamping"…read more There's hot showers, clean bathrooms, a game room, and even a small store for those everyday items... like beer! You can rent an open space to park your RV or book one of their cabins. The RV spots offer various sizes for larger or smaller RVs and some come with a fire pit, table chairs, and a set of adirondack chairs for lounging. We rented an RV and reserved spot between the playground and pool; which the kids loved. All of the RV spots come with full plug-in electricity and water connections. If you're looking to leave this kid friendly campground, you're in luck! This location is prime with about Avila Beach being about 3-minutes away, Pismo about 15-minutes, and the Avila Barn being walking distance. Like I said, I'm not a camper, but I could see myself staying here again next summer!

The employees are so nice, the ladies in the store, and the guys running around were friendly. They have a well stocked store, and bike rentals that were fun to take on the Bob Jones bike trail. Cons: You are camping right next to the freeway, so it is a little noisy. A lot of kids running around. One night there was a pack of teen or pre-teens out until almost 11:00 being so loud, I was hoping before then someone would come have them quiet down. The showers in the bathroom: there are no "shelves or racks" to put your bottles on and the shower curtains are way too short. The bathroom was completely out of paper towels Friday morning. They don't clean/stock the bathrooms every day. Weeds are growing everywhere, it's just the little things, but it's noticeable. I wish they'd put up fences all the way between all campsites. Flag policy: come on Highway West!! Be consistent!! We were at Costanoa and there was no written flag policy ANYWHERE, and the made us take my No Shoes Nation flag down (Kenny Chesney) and here there was an RV with a military flag and they let them leave that up. The rules had only the American flag was to be flown here -I respect the military-but, the rules are inconsistent at all the Highway West Properties!
