I was expecting more boutique and smaller batch cigars, and all they had was the same cigars I've seen everywhere else in the area. The staff was friendly and helpful but since there were no new sticks that I had never seen before, I didn't buy anything. There is no lounge or smoking area. This is also a gift store for things like whiskey, glasses, humidors, generally masculine gift items, which is pretty cool. Given the nature of their location in Galena, it's expected that their prices are higher than you would find in other areas and they are, so no big deal. I can't tell you how disappointed I am that a store sitting on the main drag in a tourist town, doesn't have any new sticks or sticks I haven't seen before.

They ordered shaving soap on my behalf and shipped it to me. Considering that I don't even live close to them, I appreciate the customer care they provide. If you have just one afternoon to spend in Galena, be sure that you see Nine Generals. It is definitely worth the trip.
